Manual Configuration Mikrotik RB2011

1. Edit configuration file (ktwvsat1.0.src) using notepad or using notepad++ (recommended) according to the IP address given to each site.

2. Download winbox.exe from http://cbc2home.it.msd.net.my/softwares/winbox.exe3. Place direct cable from mikrotik to laptop or pc

4. Make sure laptop or pc obtain IP address automatically

5. Default IP address for mikrotik 192.168.88.1

6. Open Winbox.exe

Login: AdminPassword: no password

Click Here

Click New Terminal

Copy & Paste configuration file here

Click enter & Click “y” to Reboot

7. Wait until mikrotik disconnected itself and click ok

8. Disconnect cable from laptop or pc and put it back. Then check IP address (it should get SRX LAN IP from the IP address table) Example:

9. Reopen winbox.exe

10. Go to files and click backup to backup configuration setting

1. Place cable from AP & IDU to any mikrotik port except port no. 12. Recommended IDU port no. 2 & AP port no 33. Test internet connection.

Click Backup
