Before joining Newnan Utilities in November 2015, Earl worked in customer service/call center management for the better part of 22 years.Asked what he hopes to learn from Leadership Coweta, Earl said, “My expectation from the Leadership Coweta experience is that it will provide an

additional outlet for civic participation, particularly in the community where I work. I’m looking forward to networking and building lifelong friendships and business relationships.

“I don’t think Leadership Coweta will change my thinking about my job or my community involvement, but I do believe it will provide opportunities to learn more about ways to increase and enhance my community involvement.”

Earl said he believes Leadership Coweta will help him “acquire a keener sense of the local economy and the interdependencies of various sectors, as well as providing a greater understanding of issues particular to this and other local communities.”

Several of Earl’s coworkers have benefited from Leadership Coweta, and he is looking forward to the experience, saying, “It’s an excellent opportunity to develop skills, network with local movers and shakers, and gain a better understanding of how to be a more effective participant and leader in the local community.”
