Thoughts give birth to a creative force that is neither elemental nor sidereal. Thoughts create a new heaven, a new firmament, a new source of energy, from which new arts flow. When a man undertakes to create something, he establishes a new heaven, as it were and from it the work that he desires to create flows into him. For such is the immensity of man that he is greater than heaven and earth.

By these words our new idea of publishing a newsletter may give you all some creative thoughts by which our knowledge may enrich and you all may come with new innovative ideas.

All the departmental, students’ activities during last semester, like CVSR CSI Chapter, SAHAYA, students professional club MAVEN COGNIKZ, Microsoft i-Spark and IBM academic initiative are covered in this edition of newsletter. It also has some innovative and creative articles given by faculty and students, and funny puzzles by which you can sharpen your brain.

I thank all the people who made this possible with their valuable suggestions. We would be looking forward to hear from you to improve the quality of the Newsletter.

Lastly “If you have knowledge, let others light their candles at it.

“Words, once they are printed, have a life of their own. “

Student Editorial

An old saying i.e. a pen is mightier den a sword. The pen stands for press, literature, newspaper, books and other writings. The purpose of writing is to connect one’s mind with other.Any creations, inventions, thoughts, ideas had to start with a pen. This gives birth to a creative world. Thoughts of a man are such an immense that he can create a heaven in the world.Because of all these words our new idea of publishing a newsletter may give you all some creative thoughts by which our knowledge may enrich and you all may come with new innovative ideas.

Are social networking sites addictive?

Social networking is not a new concept. In fact, it's been around as long as we have. A social

network is simply the structure of relationships among individuals. Everyone on the planet is part

of one big social network, but we also belong to smaller, more distinct sub networks. We define

these sub networks by criteria like our families, friends, jobs, schools, hobbies and more. You

have a social network at work. You have a social network at the dog park by your house. You

have a social network with your college friends. You have a social network with your Tuesday

night book club. The list goes on and on, and many people in your network may overlap.

Additionally, your contacts multiply all the time, as you meet new people through the people in

your existing networks.

Social networking Web sites evolved from these face-to-face networks. The online sites, though,

are powerful because they harness the strength of the Internet to manage and map out your

relationships. You can physically see your network -- your friends, your friends' friends, and so

on -- and how you connect with all of them.

Social networking sites allow people to manage their relationships as well as find new ones.

Some communities, such as LinkedIn, target professionals. Some, such as the crochet/knitting

community Rivalry, target people with specific hobbies. And some, such as Face book or

MySpace, are general interest community sites that allow users to form smaller communities

within. Once you join a social networking site, you may find yourself spending a lot of time

there. Is it all in good fun, or can online social networks be addictive?

Domain Flipping growing as new business

Domain flipping is purchasing a domain name solely for the purpose of selling the same for a

higher price. Online community is growing very fast and everyone is trying to have their brands,

logos and domain names suitable for their brand. When there is a need, there exists an

opportunity, few people utilizing such opportunities will make money. A new way of making

money online is from domain flipping.

Like any other business domain flipping also requires an initial investment depending on the

capacity of the investor. Domain flipping can be started from as low as $ 10 or ` 500. More than

any capital the domain flipping business requires intelligence and a bit of common sense. Some

well versed business men have taken domain flipping as the full time business.

Domain flipping as I mentioned in the beginning is purchasing of domain names. The domain

names can be purchased from any of the domain name seller and keeping it for quite some time

until someone is desperately looking to purchase the same domain name. When there is someone

looking desperately to purchase the same domain name which you own, you can sell it for a

higher price. Domain flipping is also termed as the best business on web of the 21st century.

While buying domain names, one should carefully purchase the names which may be in need in

the future. For example, suppose you own a domain name www.abc.com  some months back and

a new firm is started which is planning to have the domain name same as you own then the firm

has no other go than purchasing the www.abc.com from you paying as much as you demand.

Sometimes it so happen that some companies like to purchase domain names which are almost

similar to their company URL. Many times rival companies like to own a similar domain name

for the purpose of misguiding customers indirectly making the rival companies to undergo loss.

A bit of smartness and making use of common sense earns the money.

It also involves risks and scams. Many times it so happens that you give all the details you have

regarding the domain name (such as user name and password) and the purchaser won’t pay you

the money as the purchaser will have full control over the domain management received by you.

At the same time, many purchasers will have doubts that suppose the owner of the domain name

cheats without giving details (such as user name or password) of the domain name. It is best or

recommended to have a middle men or a domain buy-sell agency (which are plenty over the

internet) so that the chances of frauds or getting cheated are less.

IS THE PEN LOSING POWER IN THE WORLD OF MOUSE

A little earlier , I used to make greeting cards for my friends on special occasions myself,

now I still make them myself but I do so on the computer and then get them printed. “What an

easy job” a little earlier doing a project would mean a small trip to the library and spending a few

hours in the company of encyclopedias, now it means a short trip to the internet cafe. By these

examples the reader must have come to know what my topic is. Yes of course the pen is

gradually losing its power in the world of mouse. Gone are the days when William Wordsworth,

Robert frost, Lucy gray received the appreciation they deserved for the magic they have done

with their pens. Sorry to know that some people might not even know the famous names

mentioned. But speak of Yahoo, Google, Rediff & the most popular Twitter and the question

mark on their faces vanish without a trace. Once writings are governed by his heart, his minds

reactivity and extent of the wildness of his great imagination and sceneries in his mind. When all

the above factors come into coordination, the limb of the writer functions accordingly and there

is his work of literature on the paper which will be remembered by the people for generations to

come.

Now the question arises, of what value is a click on the mouse which neither requires the

governing of heart nor mind nor any scope for imagination? When we move the mouse, it’s

basically working on an Operating System created by someone else to follow his ideologies and

thinking power. The manner of writing gives us a picture of the writer’s vision where as click on

the mouse can never give an insight to ones personality. This proves how powerful the pen is and

can do wonders when in talented hands. The pen is not only mightier than the sword but it is also

mightier than the mouse

Motivating StudentsInfants and young children appear to be propelled by curiosity, driven by an intense need to explore, interact with, and make sense of their environment. As one author puts it, "Rarely does one hear parents complain that their pre-schooler is 'unmotivated' " (James Raffini 1993).Unfortunately, as children grow, their passion for learning frequently seems to shrink. Learning often becomes associated with drudgery instead of delight. A large number of students--more than one in four--leave school before graduating. Many more are physically present in the classroom but largely mentally absent; they fail to invest themselves fully in the experience of learning. Awareness of how students' attitudes and beliefs about learning develop and what facilitates learning for its own sake can assist educators in reducing student apathy.

What Is Student Motivation?

Student motivation naturally has to do with students' desire to participate in the learning process. But it also concerns the reasons or goals that underlie their involvement or noninvolvement in

academic activities. Although students may be equally motivated to perform a task, the sources of their motivation may differ.A student who is INTRINSICALLY motivated undertakes an activity "for its own sake, for the enjoyment it provides, the learning it permits, or the feelings of accomplishment it evokes" (Mark Lepper 1988). An EXTRINSICALLY motivated student performs "IN ORDER TO obtain some reward or avoid some punishment external to the activity itself," such as grades, stickers, or teacher approval (Lepper). The term MOTIVATION TO LEARN has a slightly different meaning. It is defined by one author as "the meaningfulness, value, and benefits of academic tasks to the learner- regardless of whether or not they are intrinsically interesting" (Hermine Marshall 1987).Another notes that motivation to learn is characterized by long-term, quality involvement in learning and commitment to the process of learning (Carole Ames 1990).

What Factors Influence The Development Of Students' Motivation?

According to Jere Brophy (1987), motivation to learn is a competence acquired "through general experience but stimulated most directly through modeling, communication of expectations, and direct instruction or socialization by significant others (especially parents and teachers)."Children's home environment shapes the initial constellation of attitudes they develop toward learning. When parents nurture their children's natural curiosity about the world by welcoming their questions, encouraging exploration, and familiarizing them with resources that can enlarge their world, they are giving their children the message that learning is worthwhile and frequently fun and satisfying. When children are raised in a home that nurtures a sense of self-worth, competence, autonomy, and self-efficacy, they will be more apt to accept the risks inherent in learning.Conversely, when children do not view themselves as basically competent and able, their freedom to engage in academically challenging pursuits and capacity to tolerate and cope with failure are greatly diminished.Once children start school, they begin forming beliefs about their school-related successes and failures. The sources to which children attribute their successes (commonly effort, ability, luck, or level of task difficulty) and failures (often lack of ability or lack of effort) have important implications for how they approach and cope with learning situations. The beliefs teachers themselves have about teaching and learning and the nature of the expectations they hold for students also exert a powerful influence (Raffini). As Deborah Stipek (1988) notes, "To a very large degree, students expect to learn if their teachers expect them to learn." Schoolwide goals, policies, and procedures also interact with classroom climate and practices to affirm or alter students' increasingly complex learning-related attitudes and beliefs. And developmental changes comprise one more strand of the motivational web. For example, although young children tend to maintain high expectations for success even in the face of repeated failure, older students do not. And although younger children tend to see effort as uniformly positive, older children view it as a "double-edged sword" (Ames). To them, failure following high effort appears to carry more negative implications—especially for their self-concept of ability--than failure that results from minimal or no effort.

Are There Advantages To Intrinsic Motivation?

Does it really matter whether students are primarily intrinsically or extrinsically oriented toward learning? A growing body of evidence suggests that it does. When intrinsically motivated,

students tend to employ strategies that demand more effort and that enable them to process information more deeply (Lepper).J. Condry and J. Chambers (1978) found that when students were confronted with complex intellectual tasks, those with an intrinsic orientation used more logical information-gathering and decision-making strategies than did students who were extrinsically oriented. Students with an intrinsic orientation also tend to prefer tasks that are moderately challenging, whereas extrinsically oriented students gravitate toward tasks that are low in degree of difficulty. Extrinsically riented students are inclined to put forth the minimal amount of effort necessary to get the maximal reward (Lepper). Although every educational activity cannot, and perhaps should not, be intrinsicallymotivating, thesefindings suggest that when teachers can capitalize on existing intrinsic motivation, there are several potential benefits.

What Can Be Done To Help Unmotivated Students?

A first step is for educators to recognize that even when students use strategies that are ultimately self-defeating (such as withholding effort, cheating, procrastination, and so forth), their goal is actually to protect their sense of self-worth (Raffini). A process called ATTRIBUTION RETRAINING, which involves modeling, socialization, and practice exercises, is sometimes used with discouraged students. The goals of attribution retraining are to help students to (1) concentrate on the tasks rather than becoming distracted by fear of failure; (2) respond to frustration by retracing their steps to find mistakes or figuring out alternative ways of approaching a problem instead of giving up; and (3) attribute their failures to insufficient effort, lack of information, or reliance on ineffective strategies rather than to lack of ability (Brophy 1986).Other potentially useful strategies include the following: portray effort as investment rather than risk, portray skill development as incremental and domain-specific, focus on mastery (Brophy 1986). Because the potential payoff--having students who value learning for its own sake is priceless, it is crucial for parents, teachers, and school leaders to devote themselves fully to engendering, maintaining, and rekindling students' motivation to learn.

Dark Matter Found In the Universe

For the first Time, astronomers have discovered a giant string of invisible dark matter across the universe between a pair of galaxy clusters. The universe is thought to be filled with such strings of dark matter, a mysterious substance that cannot be seen, only sensed through its gravitational pull. Now, Scientists find a giant filament that forms a bridge between two huge clusters called Abell 222 and Abell 223, which lie 2.7 billion light-years away. According to Albert Einstein’s general theory of relativity, massive objects warp space and time around them, causing anything travelling through it, including light, to proceed along a curved path. When light from a background object, such as a galaxy, passes nearby a massive cluster on its way to Earth, its image will appear bent because of the crooked path its light travelled.

CERN found proof of “God Particle”

Scientists at CERN have found with ’99.999%’ certainty the ‘God Particle’ that they had been searching for 50 years.

WHAT IS IT?The Higgs boson is conceived as a sub-atomic particle the confers substance. It is conceived as

existing in treacle, invisible field that was created after ‘Big Bang’ and pervades the Universe. Higgs bosons ‘stick’ to fundamental particles of matter, dragging on them, and then decay themselves into another form.

WHY IT’S IMPORTANT?The origin of mass- meaning the resistance of an object to being moved- has been debated for

decades. Finding the Higgs boson would vindicate the so-called Standard Model of Physics, a theory that says the universe is made from 12 particles which provide the building blocks for all matter.

WHY ‘GOD PARTICLE’?The Higgs has become known as the ‘God Particle’, the quip being extremely powerful exists

everywhere but is hard to find. In fact, the name comes from the title of a book by Nobel physicist Leon Lederman whose draft title was “The Goddamn Particle”, to describe the frustrations of trying to nail it.

Similarities in the LIFE of Two Great President’s of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA they are 16th President of USA ABRAHAM LINCOLN and 35th President of USA JOHN.F.KENNEDY.

Both presidents had been murdered by someone. Strangers who had killed them had targeted their head while shooting them. Their wives were present when they were murdered. Both had got murdered on Friday only. While they were passing with other people in public, they were killed and only male people had

got injured.

While they were in the office president of USA they have lost their sons. Lincoln had got murdered at the famous Ford Theatre; Kennedy had also got murdered at

“Lincoln Automobiles” which was also built by Ford Company only. Lincoln had secretary named “Kennedy” and Kennedy had got named secretary named

“Lincoln”, their both secretaries had cautioned their president’s about the plot of their murder. Lincoln who had got murdered by Joy Booth, Kennedy who had got murdered by Harvay has got

murdered before they were produce to court. In English Language their names were in Five Syllable. Lincoln’s murderer had ran from Booth theatre side to Warehouse side, then Kennedy’s

murderer had ran from Oswald Warehouse to Theatre side, after the plot. Anti-American agents have murdered the both president’s of America. Lincoln was first elected to American Congress in 1846, while Kennedy was first elected to

American congress in 1946 just first two digits are different and both were elected to House of Representatives at the same age only.

Both were not nominated to vice-president post by their parties. Abraham Lincoln had become president to United States of America in 1860, John.F.Kennedy

had become president to United States of America in 1960. In Lincoln regime Mr. Andrew Johnson who worked has vice-president of America was born in

1808 similarly in Kennedy’s regime Mr. Lindon Jackson who worked has vice-president was born in 1908, and both vice-president’s name was with Johnson only.

Both Lincoln and Kennedy’s vice-president were heading the House of Representatives in 1847 and 1947 respectively.

Lincoln had defeated Stephen Douglas to become president, Kennedy had defeated Richard Nixon to become president were born in 1813 and 1913 respectively.

PIPA AND SOPA

Introduction:PIPA stands for Protect IP Act SOPA stands for Stop Online Piracy ActIt is about the website (Named as Reddit.com), which became the No. 1 Social bookmarking website in the Year of 2011. Now many of you must be thinking that Why such big sites are taking serious, shutdown actions about SOPA and PIPA Acts... So let me introduce you about these two terms.I think many people over here are not aware of PIPA and SOPA... PIPA and SOPA are both U.S. Government Law’s for stopping the Online Piracy which includes, Software, Music, Movies, anything.. The big companies like Google and Mozilla once supported this ACT's... But now they are standing against them.... They want that these Bills never get passed...PIPA – Protect IP Act:PIPA Actually PIPA is the OLD U.S. Law which served by U.S. Senate on May 2011.The main threat about this act is... If it is passed then U.S. government will get the right to Sue any website (New or Old; that will not matter); if they found any Copyright issue on particular website.PIPA Includes:If U.S. Government found any Copyright infringement on any website, they can force U.S. Internet providers to block access to websites. Seek legal action by suing search engines, blog sites, directories, or any site in general to have the black listed sites removed from their websiteWill be able to force advertising services on infringing websites, and those supporting of them, to remove them from their advertising accountsCompanies will also have the power to sue any new websites that get started after this bill is passed, if they believe that they are not doing a good job of preventing infringement on your website

SOPA – Stop Online Piracy ActSOPA is similarly like PIPA.... SOPA was introduced on October 2011SOPA Includes:The U.S. Attorney General can now seek a court order that would force search engines, advertisers, DNS providers, servers, and payment processors from having any contact with allegedly infringing websitesIt will allow private corporations to create their own personal hit lists composed of websites they feel are breaking their copyright policies; ironically this doesn’t have any odd feelings of a legal mafia at all. These companies will be able to directly contact a website’s payment processors a

notice to cut all off payment involvement with the targeted website. This payment processors and website of question will then have five days to act before it is simply taken down.Payment processors will have the power to cut off any website they work with, as long as they can provide a strong reason of why they believe this site is violating copyrightsFacts – SOPA & PIPAMany big companies like Apple, Microsoft, IBM, Adobe and etc. are already supporting BSA (Business Software Alliance), which directly comes under U.S. Government. Still the Big Brands, Google and Mozilla are standing against these laws... I know, that you are thinking that...why Google and Mozilla are worrying about..Google – No Support to SOPA/PIPA:"Why Google not Supporting???"...1) US Traffic Blocked 2) AD REVENUE Blocked 3) Search Traffic Blocked

*******Now Many of you must be thinking why MOZILLA Then... Right?Mozilla – No Support to SOPA/PIPAMozilla is the strongly standing against this law, because of the DNS Filtering (IP Fluctuation - PIPA Act) Issue... Mozilla believes that by using DNS filtering this will open up more security risks and slow down the systems up and coming extension DNSSEC

How it will affect us?As we all know that which thing in Internet World is Most Popular???That’s Blog and Bloggers!!! Right? It means U.S. Government will keep eye on Blogs that which kind of content they are publishing. These Acts make it the blog owner’s responsibility for everything that is displayed on their site, including the comments of visitors. It means.. If you are going to put any Article and if you put any company Logo without its Company permission then may be your websites will have to go under SOPA and PIPA Acts

Clear Idea:

If you are thinking that How Face book or YouTube kind of sites will get blocked then let me give you an Example…Take an example of YouTube… YouTube will stop giving permission from record Label songs upload on their website. As you all know that in YouTube, Many times we see that many people sing one song in different styles… but now after SOPA and PIPA if that song is copyrighted or the Music Industry put that song under Copyright then it will create issue for everyone. From website to that Person. However will that be a problem for the record execs? The site the person will have posted the video on will be put under pressure to resolve this issue, or face their site being put on the blacklist. That person and his family could also very well face legal action with either the site or the record label the song that was sung has copyrighted. U.S. Government

As U.S. Government applying this Law only for United States at start.U.S. Government is not only concern about the things that how these Acts will work out in America...  They are hoping that they will have the influence to get other nations to follow suit with these acts passing. That means if these acts pass, then our country will also come forward... To take such kind of actions…

‘‘QUIT’’ TOBACCO

Tobacco facts : Health problems

• Smoking is injurious to health, even though it is practiced and seen, Cigars creates many health issue which sometimes lead to death.

• Smoking causes lung cancer that all might know very well, but it also leads to cardiovascular disease.

• The tobacco produces various toxins. Study reveals that smoking reduces life for seven to eight years.

• The nicotine content in tobacco increase the cholesterol level in the body which leads to cardiovascular disease.

• Than non smokers, smokers are likely to get cancers especially the mouth cancer. • Tobacco smoking leads to serious health problems including respiratory and non-respiratory. • Smoking is being tried first by most in the schooling and still this is yet continuing.• Smoking is banned in public places but still it seen everywhere, it is not be shown in media

as well. • Once you start a habit of smoking then it is not so easy to stop as cigar contains nicotine

which is highly addictive. • Mostly people start smoking without any cause mainly before they reach the age of 18, so it

is better not to try it out rather than going for it. • The one who smoke first have a burning sensation, throat pain later i.e. tremendously it leads

to health issues like heart problems, cancers.• In united states study reveals that out of five case of death reported one is due to use of

cigars. Smoking people tends to be less active than the others because cigar smoking is affecting lungs mainly.

• Smoking leads to infertility also, women’s who are under treatment and are taking pills use cigars they have a higher chance of getting strokes.

• We can see problems in those who smoke like rashes in skin, bad breath, less active, risk of illness like cold, flu, allergy etc.

• It is not only cigars are been used for smoking, in the middle eastern countries hookahs are been used, they also cause health issues but some say as the smoke is passing through a pipe and takes time to pass along with water in it doesn’t create such issue, but it is not so.

• Another problem in hookah is that it is shared among many people so there is a chance of passing germs from one mouth to another through the pipe. The major cause of death in United States is heart attack and most of them are smokers.

• Tobacco includes more than fourty thousand chemicals which are hazardous to our human body, some of them are nicotine, tar, carbon monoxide etc, out of these more than fifty chemicals cause cancer.

• ‘Many of them wants to move out from tobacco smoking but whoever has started smoking finds it very difficult to stop’, it is because of the nicotine content in the tobacco which makes people an addiction to it.

• A person who starts smoking at a younger age is at a higher risk than the others and is facing more problems like wheezing, cancer, lung problems. Non smokers also faces risk like children when they are close to second hand smokers.

• Smoking ultimately ends in several disease and this actually starts for people when they stop or quit smoking, some of major disease are, lung problems, cancer, heart attacks, HDL cholesterol, cancer in mouth, throat and ultimately effecting voice, Pneumonia etc.

• Smoking also affects babies before they are born, so carrying mothers if they smoke the baby is likely to gain less weight and ultimately to several complications at the time of delivery and the baby needs car in neonatal intensive care unit and finally many issues relatively and nursing mothers if they smoke also it is likely to affect the baby through the breast milk.

• Like smoking there is also chewing a tobacco which leads to mouth cancer and dental problems like loss of teeth, gums.

• So for a healthy life and to stay well it is better not to try cigars because once you start it is difficult to stop so better not to try once.

“HEART RACING FEAR ??“Life seems to be dull as we are done with our intermediate, but suddenly it opens a new door for a new entry i.e. B-tech life. As we step into the college on first day, heart racing the fear of getting ragged keeps beating in our heart.Ragging for many is part of engineering but in the college such as CVSR the students are blessed with a friendly environment with seniors. If any it will be limited to sheer fun from where we could find some of the best friends and mentors.

Brginnerz…

I was a chess player in my childhood and of course I keep it aside because of my own reasons. I just want to give a very basic introduction of chess in this article.

Chess was a two player game which was invented in India. Many of us know how to play chess but very few are masters in it. It’s not a big deal to master chess if we know very common and simple aspects. Like in cricket we have power play one, power play 2 and power play 3, in chess we have 3 stages opening, middle game and end game.

In opening we need to follow certain rules and regulations like making the entire powers active, making a castling, moving king to a safe zone etc.

In middle game the actual tactics come into existence. Here we may go for defense or attack. But being stick to one kind of game may lead to problems. If you want to choose defense then defend to your maximum chances but wait for the chance to attack at once. If you want to go for an attack then make sure that the entire powers are protected and they can immediately come to king protection when it is necessary.

If the game doesn’t end in the middle game, you will come to end game in which you will find 1 or 2 powers and remaining are pawns (soldiers in everyday English but it’s a pawn we when go in professional way). Here comes the actual problem that how to play with pawns. Because many people think that a pawn doesn’t have so much importance but when a pawn reaches the birth place of other kingdom i.e., the starting edge in other side, it can become a queen or rook (elephant) or bishop (camel) or night (horse). Of course it cannot become a king as in a kingdom only one king will present!

Anyone can become a master in chess if at all he/she manages the 3 stages of chess efficiently and make a wise of use of powers. Lastly, practice makes man perfect. Have a trial over this and you can create miracles in this field also. All the best guys..!!

HACKING:

Hello mates, HACKING... I know, it seems interesting every time we hear this word, So I am in front of you today to express a small technique through which you can hack your friend’s social networking sites or email id’s.. Interested to know??Well, look down then!!

PHISHING pronounced as fishing is the main formula we use here to hack a id. What is it exactly? Its nothing but creating a fake html page and hosting it on free web hosting sites such as www.000webhost.com , www.own-free-website.com etc. which appears as a professional site, and stealing the details of a person by sending them the link. !!What happens here? For example if you want to hack someone’s facebook account, then create a html home page of facebook which just resembles the original one, When the victim clicks on this fake link, they will be directed to a page where they are asked to enter the details like username and password. When they enter the details, the details automatically gets stored in the database of yours where you have hosted your site..Isn’t it looking Easy??Waiting for what then??

Attack your friends... ;-)

BHARATH (CSE 3rd yr Sec-A)

My Dreams… My Steps… My Achievements…

Hello mates, this is BHARATH from CSE 3rd yr. Today i’m infront of you to share my dreams and my movement in achieving those dreams. The most influential situation happened to me is..In my inter 2nd year. On a day I was happened to watch a news channel in the evening. Believe it or not in span of 15 minutes, I just went on tuning 5-6 channels. The reason is, in every channel the only news was.. Attacks and Counter attacks by two major political parties of Andhra Pradesh instead of resolving the evil issues which were crucial at that point of time. It jus irritated me a lot, that was not once… it happened many times and is still happening, One particular day I was vexed watching those news. Then a question flashed in my brain. If this is the case with me alone then what about 10Cr. people in Andhra Pradesh and what is the case with 1.22billion people in India. Then I’ve decided to change my direction and step towards laying down a political party in Andhra Pradesh which serves as a platform for the youth who aspire to lead our Motherland. I desired and decided my government should be filled with young and dynamic leaders and not politicians.. MIND IT… I WANT LEADERS AND NOT POLITICIANS. And not restricting my dreams to words, started gathering people who have same thoughts like me from the day one of my b.tech life . Not just gathering , started working with them and serving the society in all possible ways. Till date I could find 17 LEADERS through out A.P and built a huge network through them. Now moving on with a hope that my Count reaches atleast 200 out of 294 by the End of 2017 So that I can launch my party in 2017 and go for elections in 2019 with a single quote Do or Die and with single intention – “ SHOW PEOPLE WHAT CAN BE DONE WHEN THEY ELECT THE RIGHT ONEs and THOSE RIGHT ONES BELONG TO YOUTH “.

Hope my dream Come true..

I had a family emergency and had to leave town. On the day I had to return I had a Chemistry exam. I had missed A LOT of school so I was totally clueless on what to study.

I crammed the whole book in 4 hours.

Walk into the exam hall and guess what I see?

Physics exam papers being handed out.

DAMMIT ....I confused the Physics day for the Chemistry.

I wrote what I knew and I managed to get an 'A'

Dont ask how or what I did. All I know was that it was a fluke ...!!!

The Defining Question for Mars Exploration: Life on Mars?  Curiosity to reveal

Among the discoveries about Mars, one stands out above all others: the possible presence of liquid water on Mars, either in its ancient past or preserved in the subsurface today. Water is key because almost everywhere we find water on Earth, we find life. If Mars once had liquid water, or still does today, it's compelling to ask whether any microscopic life forms could have developed on its surface. Is there any evidence of life in the planet's past? If so, could any of these tiny living creatures still exist today? Imagine how exciting it would be to answer, "Yes!!"

Even if Mars is devoid of past or present life, however, there's still much excitement on the horizon. We ourselves might become the "life on Mars" should humans choose to travel there one day. Meanwhile, we still have a lot to learn about this amazing planet and its extreme environments. NASA's Curiosity rover finally touched down on Mars on 24 August at 1:10PM after a nail-biting ending to the journey which saw the rover use for the first time, the world's largest supersonic parachute, the world's largest heatshield and a revolutionary new landing system that had never been tested in space.

9|SEPTEMBER 2012

In a nail-biting ending, NASA's Curiosity rover has travelled 352,000,000 miles to reach the red planet and begin the most expensive mission yet by NASA

The Defining Question for Mars Exploration: Life on Mars? Life on mars? Curiosity to revealNow on the planet Curiosity will use its nuclear battery to spend the next two years exploring the crater in which it finds itself searching for evidence that at some stage Mars was capable of supporting life.So lets wait and watch what the rover reveals on MARS!!!

THE MOMENT WHEN THE ROVER TOUCHED DOWN THE MARS FLOOR.

Curiosity is a car-sized, six-wheeled robot destined for Gale Crater on Mars.

Its mission: to see if Mars ever could have supported small life forms called microbes...and if humans could survive there someday!

In addition to super-human senses that help us understand Mars as a habitat for life, Curiosity's parts are similar to what a human would need to explore Mars (body, brains, eyes, arm, legs, etc.). Check it out though--sometimes they are located in odd places!

• Length: 10 feet (3 meters)• Width: 9 feet (2.7 meters)• Height: 7 feet (2.2 meters)• Mass: 1,982 pounds (899 kilograms)

HOW AUGMENTED REALITY WORKS

Video games have been entertaining us for nearly 30 years, ever since Pong was introduced to arcades in the early 1970s. Computer graphics have become much more sophisticated since then, and game graphics are pushing the barriers of photorealism. Now, researchers and engineers are pulling graphics out of your television screen or computer display and integrating them into real-world environments. This new technology is called Augmented Reality, blurs the line between what's real and what's computer-generated by enhancing what we see, hear, feel and smell.

On the spectrum between virtual reality, which creates immersive, computer-generated environments, and the real world, augmented reality is closer to the real world. Augmented reality adds graphics, sounds, haptic feedback and smell to the natural world as it exists. Both video games and cell phones are driving the development of augmented reality. Everyone from tourists, to soldiers, to someone looking for the closest subway stop can now benefit from the ability to place computer-generated graphics in their field of vision.

Augmented reality is changing the way we view the world or at least the way its users see the world. Picture yourself walking or driving down the street. With augmented-reality displays, which will eventually look much like a normal pair of glasses, informative graphics will appear in your field of view and audio will coincide with whatever you see. These enhancements will be refreshed continually to reflect the movements of your head. Similar devices and applications already exist, particularly on smart phones like the iPhone.

For over a period of time, the computer science department of this institution has been collecting, sourcing , researching and authenticating the knowledge of new technologies to the students. In doing so, it has created one of the richest education resource in use anywhere today and has developed the most thorough and reliable teaching procedures.

Some of the activities that have been conducted are Adobe Photoshop, Windows-7 phone app development training, spoken tutorials on Linux by IIT Bombay, IBM training on LOTUS etc.., and now Windows-8 training is running currently. So I would end up saying that I have gained lot knowledge and developed my skills in every field with the help of this institution
