a view from the pita collection of shambolic, booze-fuelled photos from my iPhone from sweaty rooms in 2013
welcome to a shoddy collection of dodgy pics taken with a shaky hand through a bleary pair of eyes and a trustyiPhone, from the bosom of many a pit and sweaty, dingy, lager-soused rooms. it’s not meant to be work worthy ofserious consideration or harbouring any artistic merit; just a personal record of just some of the great bands whobravely and relentlessly travel the motorways in vans smelling of cocks and socks, playing toilets and scout huts, cellars and grander theatres alike. these are heroic men and women. keeping live music alive. raising collectiveraised middle fingers to the system, to control, to manufactured, autotuned gruel. and i love them all. obviously, allmy favorites from are not represented here. some because i didn’t catch them live this year. but mainly because iwas either too pissed or caught between sweaty blokes in snapbacks and backpacks or bearded hipsters in theheat of the pit. anyway, the images are not protected by any copyright or anything, so feel free to use them, stealthem, share them, or whatever you like with them. enjoy. or not.
if you fancy having a look at equally shaky and shoddy words about livemusic, have a squizz athttp://bwoooartunes.blogspot.co.uk
