OGP’s suite of metrology software makes it easy to get detailed coordinate measurements of your
parts. It’s simple to set up one part and then use the versatile step-and-repeat and copy functions to
make productive use of palletized fixtures — reducing time. And cost.

OGP’s video systems can measure virtually any part. The part can be any color, even transparent. OGP image
processing actually adjusts itself to each image. All pixel data is analyzed to determine the unique characteristics of
the edge, then image processing automatically sets critical processing parameters. It filters out noise, smooths the
edge, removes the influence of dirt, burrs and flash, and enhances even the weakest of edges. Accuracy is assured in
real world applications.
A wide range of part sizes can be measured. Whether the sample fits in the field of view or covers the entire stage, you
can zoom in to the smallest features and translate to other features, all the while maintaining the total dimensional
relationships. The addition of rotary tables and touch probes allows accurate measurement of features that are
orthogonal to one another. True multi-dimensional measurement is possible with an OGP system.

All our systems use metrology software designed and developed by OGP to provide powerful geometric analysis capabilities—while still being
easy to use. Depending on the model, MeasureMind® or Measure-X 32 bit metrology software is the control, analysis, and display interface for you r
system. Everything you need from live video of your part to viewing a detailed analysis report is presented on a single video screen. The system
automatically toggles between live video of the field-of-view in the ‘image’ window and the measurement results in the ‘model’ window. Select tools
from the ‘icon toolbox.’ Save setup routines for every part you measure and simply call them up when needed. Seamlessly output measurement data to
other programs in the metrology suite of analysis and reporting options. OGP’s metrology software makes it a pleasure to do precision measurements.

Many surfaces (such as glass, clear plastic, and
mirror-like finishes) create surface images of
extremely low contrast, making autofocus
difficult. The projects a confocal
pattern onto the surface of the part that is only in
focus when the surface is exactly coincident with
the focal plane of the optics. The autofocus
routine then uses the contrast contained in the
grid image just as if it were present in the surface
of the part. And since the autofocus algorithm is
finely tuned to the characteristics of the grid
image, repeatability is significantly improved.
