VIGIL™ Video Analytics 3xLOGIC’s Intelligent Video Analytics module effectively detects, classifies and tracks video content in order to provide real-time alerts and automatic video analysis according to pre-defined rules and scenarios, thereby optimizing the decision-making process of loss prevention and operation personnel with no additional hardware requirements. 3xLOGIC’s Video Analytics addresses the need of perimeter protection, access control, behavior tracking and people counting. It also automatically monitors cashier’s area, special storage areas, ATMs and other sensitive locations. Implementation of 3xLOGIC’s Video Analytics helps retail customers to analyze marketing impact and learn about customer’s purchasing habits resulting in improved business profitability and an expedited return on investment. Synchronizing your surveillance video with Point-of-Sale (POS) transactional data in conjunction with video analysis and user-defined exception-based rules give you a powerful tool kit for analyzing and detecting fraud. This “intelligent” approach to loss prevention can help you uncover errors, training or skill deficiencies, as well as questionable or dishonest practices that can lead to improved loss prevention, as well as enhanced operational efficiencies and overall store performance.

Rules & Features

• Single and Multiple Tripwires - The Tripwire rule counts people and cars crossing a line and can be configured to trigger alarms when a given number of objects enter or exit within a set period of time.

• Occupancy Count - The Occupancy Count rule counts the number of people detected in a specified area and can be configured to trigger an alarm if a set number of people are detected within a specified amount of time.

• Loitering Alarm - The Loitering Alarm rule triggers an alarm when it detects people loitering in a specified area for a specified period of time.

• Advanced Dwell/Loitering Alarm – This Alarm rule is capable of detecting people, queue times and loitering in a specified area for a specified period of time.

• Advanced Motion Alarm – The Advanced Motion Alarm rule triggers an alarm when the movement of people or cars are detected within a specified area.

• Overhead People Counting – This rule counts the

number of people in a specified area using an overhead camera.

• People Counting via Tripwires – This rule counts the number of people moving through a given area.

• Density Alarm - The Density Alarm rule triggers an alarm when a specified object density is reached.

• Appearing Object - The Appearing Object rule triggers an alarm when an object is left and detected in a scene.

• Disappearing Object – The Disappearing Object rule triggers an alarm when a stationary object disappears from a scene.

• Customer Not Present – Works in conjunction with Point of Sale to determine if a customer is present.

• Scene Change – The Scene Change rule triggers an alarm when a camera is tampered with.

• Time in Queue or Number of People in Queue – Tracks the number and duration someone is in a queue.
