TASK CHAIR

From the very beginning the design team concentrated on successfully blending advanced ergonomic principles with sublime great looks.

No easy task when the brief also stipulated that theproduct had to be positioned in an aggressively priced market segment.

Undeterred and drawing upon their vast collectiveexperience they identified a ‘basic modular principle’ for the chair. This has resulted in the entire product range using a universal seamless frame design with clear design lines from the task through to meeting chair solutions.

The ergonomic mechanism at the heart of the chair has been designed to be one of the most sophisticated yet simplistic to operate on the market. It has been designed to be ergonomic in its use with simple and intuitiveoperations and enhanced geometry and total comfort at all times.

Vida task chairs feature the latest instant adjustment synchronus technology. The modular design allows the easy addition of ergonomically designed arms and lumbar supports.

Easy to understand icons clearly show the individualfunction of the controls.

Maintain a distance between eyes and screenof 500mm to 700mm.

Keep your shoulders relaxed and not raised.

Keep your forearms horizontal and elbows bent at an angle slightly in excess of 90°.

Maintain a distance between knees and desk of 80 to 100mm.

Avoid pressure to the area behind the knees.

Keep your legs bent at an angle of between 120° to 90°.

Keep your feet resting on the floor.

Let the backrest support your back.

Adjust the height of the backrest in such a way as to ensure that your pelvis and lumbar region are properly supported.

Sit firmly against the back with a small gap between the front of the seat pad and the back of your knees.
