VISTE THANKSGIVING DINNER DELIVERYWEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 26 | 3 PM | THE LAKELAND CENTERVISTE (Volunteers in Service to the Elderly) needs volunteers to help deliver 1,400 turkey dinners to frail seniors who may not otherwise have a Thanksgiving meal. Meal pick up is at the Lakeland Center, Sikes Hall, at 3PM.

RING THE SALVATION ARMY BELLFor the past decade, the Victory congregation has rung the bell for the Salvation Army, raising over $20,000 per year for Lakeland area needs such as food, clothing, toys, and gifts. Please join us this year by signing up at the table in the lobby for a one or two hour time slot between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

WOMEN’S MINISTRIES’ BAKE SALEToday’s the day to purchase a delicious cake, pie, or cupcakes for your Thanksgiving table from Victory’s talented bakers. This compassionate program will be helpful to anyone who is experiencing grief. If you know anyone who may benefit from this opportunity to embrace hope and healing, please invite them to this seminar. Dr. Alan Wolfelt is a noted author, educator, and grief counselor, and is Director of the Center for Loss and Life Transition. This seminar is offered free by Gentry-Morrison. This musical celebration features Preschool students and ballerinas, the VCA Drumline, and the Elementary Choir’s presentation of The Christmas Cross. Join us for an evening of singing familiar carols, hearing new melodies, and watching a drama that will warm your heart. VCA looks forward to celebrating with you in the Sanctuary.

Then, purchase, wrap, and return the gift by Dec. 7 for a child whose mother or father is currently incarcerated. Children and their families will be invited to a Christmas party to receive gifts and hear the Christmas story.

VISTE THANKSGIVING DINNER DELIVERYWEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 26 | 3 PM | THE LAKELAND CENTERVISTE (Volunteers in Service to the Elderly) needs volunteers to help deliver 1,400 turkey dinners to frail seniors who may not otherwise have a Thanksgiving meal. Meal pick up is at the Lakeland Center, Sikes Hall, at 3PM.
