At Ease with Dwight Jon ZimmermanAward winning author and host Dwight Jon Zimmerman proudly welcomes authors Carol Jose and , Kathleen M.Rodgers whose books You Are Not Forgotten: A Familys Quest for Truth and the Founding of The National League

of Families and The Final Salute: Together We Live On have deeply touched everyone who has read them

You Are Not Forgotten is a story of courage, honor, and personal growth told by the

woman who lived it. Evelyn Fowler Grubb was the wife of U.S. Air Force Lt. Col.

Wilmer Newlin Grubb who was shot down over North Vietnam in 1966 and

photographed alive and well at his capture. Throughout the course of the war, Evelynand thousands of other wives and family members were unable to get information or

contact their loved ones. The U.S. government was unable to get reliable information and

was hesitant to release unconfirmed data. The North Vietnamese government refused to

provide information, and completely ignored the Geneva Conventions. This book tracesthe heart-rending journey of these families through the life of Evelyn Grubb and her

family. It also tells the story of the founding of the National League of Families of

POW/MIA and how Evelyn, one of its founding members, and the organization overcame

incredible odds both at home and abroad and became the leading advocate for the rights

    of POW/MIAs and their families.

The North Vietnamese violated the Geneva Convention by brutalizing American POWs. I am so grateful to

Evelyn Grubb and other wives and family members because it was their hard work that nearly stopped NorthVietnamese torture. . . . This book needed to be written. Leo Thorsness, six year POW and Medal of Honor

recipientKathy Rodgers award-winning novel, The Final Salute, tells the story of Lt. ColonelTucker Tuck Westerfield, an A-10 pilot, career Air Force officer on the cusp of

promotion and senior command, loving husband, and devoted father of three who, whilestruggling to deal with the shock of his best friends death in an aircraft accident, finds

himself in the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the wrong person when he stumblesupon his commanding officer in the middle of an affair with his female executive officer.

What happens next is a series of escalating and emotionally wrenching actions and

decisions that not only threaten Tucks career, but also his marriage.

[Rodgers] captured the excitement and fears of the profession. Military Times

I recommend this novel as a good description of military life and the inner workings of the

way things are done, including the cover-up process. Also, if you don't read it for any other reason, read it for theenjoyment of it. Katherine Boyer, Midwest Book Review
