Vertiscreen Vertical Blind

Vertiscreen is a retractable exterior sun screen system from Europe with a neat slim-line cassette.

Easily and discretely fitted to a home or commercial building, Vertiscreen can also be installed inside a reveal during construction.

Its compact profile includes the Vertiscreen 95 with a neat 95mm x 95mm aluminium cassette and the Vertiscreen 125 with a 125mm x 125 mm aluminium cassette which can be powder coated any Dulux colour. The Vertiscreen 125 can span up to 5.4m and the Vertiscreen 95 can span 4.0m. The Vertiscreen can also be installed as an open fabric roll without the cassette. The Vertiscreen base rail travels up and down on optional aluminium side channels or stainless steel guide wires. As an alternative to side channels or guide wires, the base rail can be fixed down with straps and saddles. Depending on the fabric used, the benefits achieved with Vertiscreen are improved insulation from heat gain and loss, UV shielding and reduction of glare. An opaque fabric can be create a total blockout, or a sunscreen fabric can offer sun protection, without losing the view. An important factor in Vertiscreen's energy efficient design is the narrow gap between glass and fabric, similar in principle to a roller shutter. Vertiscreen can have manual operation with a gearbox and crank handle or fully automatic operation by tubular electric motor. The motorised Vertiscreen can be operated by a wall switch or remote control. A timer or sun sensor can further automate the operation. Strong, reliable European engineering tested and proven with a powder coated aluminium head box cassette providing protection against corrosion and dirt.
