Food Pantry Month

Our local food pantry is an excellent example

of people helping people. We have committed

to bringing items every other month particu-

larly on the third week of that month. If you

would like to share in that blessing, we have a

big blue tub in the foyer to place nonperisha-

ble food or paper products ANY time during

June. Items always needed:

Laundry and dish soaps

Tuna, chicken and hamburger Helpers

Canned tuna and chicken

Toilet paper

Cereal

Peanut butter

Vici Kids Camp is coming! Camp dates are July 28, 29, & 30. This weekend is a wonderful time of getting to know the people from our sister churches in the area and beyond. We will have lots of fun in the swimming pool, on the inflatables, games, great food, not to mention the awesome services! (There is a little sleep thrown in there too!) We also have a nurse on site to treat any scrapes, bumps, or stings and also make certain all medications are administered properly. Come spend some time with your friends and make lots of new ones too!

If you are ready to jump in with both feet see Shelly Palacios or Cindy Stone. Registration pack-ets can be found on the foyer tables at the church. Registration fee=$65 by July 22 and shirts are $15 by July 1.

Please join us in prayer that we will not be hin-dered in any way from hearing God's word to us and He will move mightily among us.

MISSIONS NITE!! JUNE 25th - 5 P.M. We will be studying what the Nazarene

Church is doing in Vietnam and Cambo-dia. Afterwards we will be sharing a meal with some foods from those countries. The

children will also be singing some of the songs they have learned in children's

church! It will be an upbeat time to learn about missions. See you there!!

Camp Bond Flood Recovery

The damage was staggering!

About 20 hotel rooms were heavily

damaged, water in others. Four feet

of water in the nurses room. Many of

the outdoor recreation items were de-

stroyed or swept away. Many of the

individual air conditioner units were

destroyed.

Volunteers have poured in to help.

Some brought specific abilities, but

many came willing to get dirty and do

whatever needed to be done.
