Dear Lindsay: On behalf of the Vermont Envirothon and the one hundred high school students who were involved in this year’s program, I would like to thank you for your financial support for this year’s program. A record seventeen teams participated in the event at Kehoe Green Mountain Conservation Camp on May 14th. Score results are as follows:

Bellows Falls Team A will represent the state for the first time in Montana from August 4-9, 2013. at the North American Envirothon. Two students from the People’s Academy team were also awarded the Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellent for their Low Impact Development storm water project that came out of their Current Issue Project last year.

Your contribution helps insure that local students have access to this educational opportunity that enables them to learn about natural resource management through hands-on experiences. The success of the program is attributable, in large part, to the contributions of both resources and personnel that we receive from agencies and businesses committed to serving Vermont’s youth.
