What is new with your business?

I knew that selling Avon, MSE and Natasha products is quite easy for me because I have my mom who helps me in this kind of business. In fact, this is her business. She has her customers who pay her after 1 or 2 months. The only thing that is NOT easy for me is that customer pay after a month that’s why I easily get bored.

To remove the boredom that kills me, I’ve decided to make a new fan page of my own business. This business named “Fancy Dash Stuff Shop” sells stuffs that you will love for him and for her. But, most of the items in this online store sell products are for girls. Most of the products are on a pre-order basis which means I have to ask my supplier if the products are available and order it. I always received my orders after 3 or 4 days after the two weeks cut off of my store. Every week, I’ve uploaded some new products at an affordable price. This week, I’m planning to resell some Tarpaulin Wallets, which my supplier has, these cute wallets. These kinds of wallets are made out of tarpaulin of course, 5 x 4” inches in size or 3 x 4” inches and the price is 100 pesos per wallet.

Even though this subject is going to end this semester, I’m planning to continue this because I’m enjoying doing this kind of business.

What have you realize or learned so far?

I’ve realized that it’s not easy selling online; and even if you have your physical store. I have many competitors online which sells the same products like mine. I’ve learned that patience is a virtue. You don’t have to get annoyed if the customer asks anything several times but doesn’t want to buy. That’s business. You have to be patient. I also learned how to avoid scammers, bogus buyers and joy reservers. I put some rules in my business so that if they complain I will send them the rules of my store. I also realized that you don’t have to have many suppliers. One or two is enough. It’s better if you can also meet your supplier without a handling fee. Some of the suppliers requires handling fee for meet ups.

“Customers should put their trust on you” – this is one of the most important things if you want to be in this kind of business.

I like selling online because I’ve always put this in my mind that, “If you love what you are doing you'll never get bored”.
