DESCRIPTION

Penumbra is a collection of creative and academic texts developing the discussion around uncertainty as a positive experimental catalyst. The publication is a conceptual artist book with a layout that is designed to deconstruct and disrupt the traditional linear approach to reading and aid the reader in their exploration of the in-between. The publication includes original texts by both established and emerging art professionals. Among these are pieces by Bedwyr Williams, Greta Eacott, Anna Hussey, Lydia Julien, Collette Rayner in collaboration with poet Daisy Lafarge, Rachael Smith, HE. Wiseman, Nella Janiika Aarne, Elizabeth Hudson and Olga Stebleva. Penumbra was supported by Arts Council England and published by APT Gallery. One of its copies is held in the British Library.
