Veolia Environmental Services-Egypt is responsible for:1. the collection of (household, industrial and medical waste),   2. manual and mechanical sweeping, 3. washing of streets, monuments and tunnels 4. cleaning beaches,using one transfer station to transport waste to three sorting and

composting plants plus two sanitary  landfills.

Veolia Environmental Services produces yearly 150,000 tones of organic compost.

Veolia Environmental Services-Egypt succeeded to get three ISO certificates: (ISO 9001:2004, ISO14000, and OHSAS 18001).
