Mode of action

HERBICIDEGROUP 3ABifenthrin, the active ingredient in Venom Professional 240 SC Insecticide, kills pests by disrupting the insect nervous system. Bifenthrin interferes with the generation and conduction of nerve impulses through the insect’s body. By disrupting the ion balance in insect nerve cell membranes, bifenthrin causes an electrical imbalance, throwing the whole nervous system into spasm. This ultimately leads to paralysis and death of the target pest.

Venom Professional 240 SC is a synthetic pyrethroid (Class 3A) insecticide. Venom Professional 240 SC works via direct contact or by the pest ingesting the active ingredient during feeding.

• Provides fast knockdown and long term residual control of a range of pests and is safe for use in all areas indoors and outdoors.

• Registered for the control of all subterranean termite species in pre and post construction, perimeter, nests, poles, fences posts and reticulation systems.

• Controls several ant species including Black Ant, Coastal Brown Ant, Funnel Ant, Meat Ant, Sugar Ant, Stinging Ants.

• Additional registration for the control of Spiders, Papernest wasps, Mosquitoes, Biting Midges, Flies, Fleas & Ticks in Internal and external areas and surrounds of domestic, commercial, public and industrial buildings or structures.

Venom® Professional 240SC

Use RatesPest Control: Apply Venom Professional 240 SC Insecticide at a rate of 10 – 40 mL/10 L of water dependant on pest species and situation. For termite control, apply at a rate of 105-625 mL/100 L dependant on application type for at least 10 years control.
