DESCRIPTION
www.vem.eu Filament winding is a fabrication technique for creating composite material structures. The manufacturing of a continuous pipe or a sleeve blank is carried out by applying the glass fiber laminate on a rotating mandrel, calibrated according to the nominal diameter of the pipe under production. VEM uses two different mandrel technologies, namely steel band mandrel and lamellar mandrel, to produce: - GRP/GRE pipe production - Diameters from ND 100 - 4000 mm; - Production speeds up to 40 m per hour; - Nominal Pressure up to 32 bar with hoop winding; - Biaxial strength with UD Tape and Cross Filament Winding technology; - Premixing System for Inorganic Filler and Resin - Stiffness from 2500 to 10.000 N/m2; - Variable pipe lengths; - Joints: sleeve, with rubber seal, bonded, lock joint mandrel. Thanks to the long experience developed in the field of GRP, our Group is able to assist the investor starting from the feasibility study and to propose the best solution according to the market requirements. The commercial approach consists in starting a programmatic and continuous contact with the potential customers. The contacts selected are developed by the commercial team with the aim to achieve the most advantageous quality-price ratio, completing the supply of technologies and machinery with goods and services found also on the local market. The executive approach is much depending on the size and characteristics of the plant; anyway we appoint a Design Manager, assisted by the technical, legal, administrative, financial and cost-saving services, with the aim to guarantee the full compliance with the quality standards and with timing and costs foreseen.
