Algorithm

Answer is divided into 2 parts (Right & Left)

Select the base which is close to number.

Find deviation d1=Multiplicand-based2=Multiplier-base

RP is multiplication of deviation ie:d1xd2

LP is addition of multiplicand & d2 OR multiplier & d1

Note: Number of digit in RP=#zeros in base• If less then insert zero’s to the left of the number.

• If more then & add to the LP

• If RP is (-)ve, take complement &less 1 from LP after adjust the digit


Find 9 x 8 Base=10
