Goal This KB is designed to Understand and Troubleshoot VBA Backup Failures and provide a Resolution Path to fix allissues with et!orker V"ware Backup Protection Policies#

Resolution -ocu.ent each step perfor.ed during the flow of troubleshooting for a /uicker understanding of the issue b0 1"& or &ngineering2if the issue needs an escalation#

The VBA Backup Failures should be tracked as per the se/uence of events as discussed below3$# 4heck et!orker "anage.ent 4onsole 5"46 for an0 specific 4lient failures# Points to be noted at this stage3

• Prox0 na.es associated with each failed V" client

• -evice associated with each failed V" client
