This full reverse costing study has been conducted to provide insight on technology data, manufacturing cost and selling priceof the Vayyar VYYR2401.

Walabot is the consumer brand from Vayyar that offers UWB 4D imaging systems. The company built all its systems from theRF SoC manufactured by Vayyar. The first SoC developed by the company was the VYYR2401, analyzed in this report. This chipis used in a smartphone add-on device that detects pipes and cables and behind walls like Superman’s X-ray vision, and in a falldetection system torn down in the report.

The attraction of the Vayyar solution is the simplicity of integration of the system. The RF SoC features an on-chip Digital SignalProcessor (DSP) that processes the data from the transceiver and directly provides Static Random Access Memory (SRAM)-typedata to a Microcontroller Unit (MCU) that only converts it into data stream that can enter a USB port and is understandable byany processor with machine learning features on the market like a Snapdragon from Qualcomm.
