And He Called
Lev. 1:1 5:26.
I. Wow! Right away this Parsha explodes with an intriguing enigma seen in the first
phrase of the verse that gives us our title: VaYikra and He called. Here is how it is
written. *Note the diminished Alef! Last year we looked at it from a
different angle, so lets see what Abba reveals now! Curiously, solving the puzzle
begins with the numbers! We know the value of Alef is 1. However, it is also seen in
the number 111 which is the total number of verses in this Parsha and the value of
the word aleph, 'alaph, itself. We know this is one of the two letters Yahshua
identified Himself with (Alef-Tav). In fact, we see Alef hidden in an anagram in a
unique place prophetically Is. 9: 6 where His name is called Wonderful, #6382,
pele', wonder, extraordinary, a hard thing to understand, to separate or
distinguish! This segues nicely with how the diminished Alef seems separated from
the letters Vav-Yod-Qof-Resh. The Vav serves as a conjunction and; this leaves the
letters which form the Hebrew word, #3365, yaqar, meaning to esteem, to bevaluable, splendor, and honor. It now becomes prophetical! Yahshua, the Alef the
Head, First, or Chief One, would be separated from His glory, splendor and His
esteem. In fact, Is. 53: 3 tells us we would notesteem Him. The gematria of esteem,
#2803, chashab, equals 310 the same as that of Yaqar! Coincidence? I think
not! If this is true how does it fit with the rest of this Parsha?
Tabernacle Sacrifices.
II. The rest of the Parsha deals with 4 specific sacrifices, the death/offering of which
purchased atonement on the behalf of Israel who were taught to esteem this
exchange through these rituals thus typifying the future offering of Messiah. Ps. 50:
11 15 adds a bit of clarity. Israel was not to think of the sacrifice as food for
YHVH, for He neither hungers nor eats. Rather, the worshiper was to offer to Himthe sacrifice of thanksgiving and call upon Him in times of trouble, and thus He
would deliver the worshiper and the worshiper would honor Yah. It is quite
staggering when we count the Hebrew letters in these verses because when you
reach 111 the Alef it ends at the phrase, call upon me , uqrani thesame root word as our title, VaYiqra! The letters are the same with the exception of

an added Nun whose value is 50, meaning jubilee, to deliver. Nun is the letter
representing Life, restoration, and deliverance, which is what He promises in this
verse; to deliver us in the day of trouble! I think it would serve us well to examine
the specific types of offerings to see their pattern how they apply to us today.
A. Our first step is to look into the usage of the word offering Qorban, #7133,qorban, translated offering, oblation. It is from the root, qerab, which can
mean to come near, or approach, but also can also be a noun which infers formal
hostilities between people war: it also can infer the middle or interior, inner part,
such as the inner organs, bowels etc. Does this hint that those who approach the
altar to bring this gift do so because of hostilities between them and YHVH which
need to be resolved?
Burnt offering; #5930, `olah, the heart of this word hints at ascending,thus its connection to stairs or steps. Remember this was a twice-daily
sacrifice.J Morning & Evening! The skin of this sacrifice is given to thePriests as part of their portion. Now, lets camp out here for a bit:
This word is spelled the same as the word found in Gen. 3:7 #5929, `aleh,
translated leaves the material Adam and Eve sew, (#8609, taphar, to stitch or
sew together a garment) to cover themselves. If broken apart, the Tav prefix
indicates 3rd
person, future tense you shall, while the Pey-Resh root indicates thefruit of ones lips/mouth. They make themselves aprons, #2290, chagowr, abelt, loin girdle. [Chet-Gimmel spells chag, the word for festival, its origin infers to
tremble, or whirl while Vav-Resh-Hey indicates ore, light]. This happens just before
the Voice-Messiah, the , ET - Qol, comes walking in the cool-ruach-breath
of the day/evening. Is it possible this would have been the 2nd
visit of the day by the
Voice fulfilling the twice-daily pattern of the Olah sacrifice? And since Adam is the
High Priest, then it is fitting the Skin of the Olah offering would have been his!
Therefore he is clothed with this skin as seen in Gen. 3: 21!
Was it possible that Adam and Eve understood this principle and react by sewing
stitching together a series of leaves which like the Olah, representing the Word
of YHVH when lifted up would draw man elevate him, allow him to ascend back
to YHVH? Is it possible their words, the fruit of their mouths their confession of
Messiah, [for with the mouth confession is made unto salvation...Rom. 10:10] would

set a precedent where the loins of others could be covered by this same skin? (Eph.
6: 14) Job uses this word skin, #5786, owr, in the phrase; skin for skin, in the
exchange with Satan and YHVH a poetic way of saying life for
life. The skin did indeed represent the life/light of the one offered. Therefore, we see
a pattern in this Skin garment of The LIGHT-Ore, which trembles, vibrates orresonates like the breath of the Spirit, being offered to Adam & Eve Ruach in the
cool of the evening! The gematria of ET-Qol equals 537, the same as a word seen in
Ruth 3: 15, #4304, , mitpahat, a mantle or cloak worn by the Bride. He was
the SKIN GARMENT that is offered twice daily for Israel the Bride!
Interestingly, the same letters in taphar, sew, , can be rearranged to spell
#6622, pathar patar, a verb meaning to interpret. As in Josephs interpreting
dreams. The word for dream here, is #2492, chalam, which means to dream,
but it can also mean to restore to health! The connection to Joseph is doubly obvious
now as it means YHVH will do again, He will increase! Joseph would himself wear
this garment as would Messiah ben Yoseph! It would seem Adam & Eve knew the
Promise of Redemption and by stitching together the leaves they begin to
immediately remind YHVH of His Promise! Which is exactly what we find in Is. 43:
26, where were told to Put me in remembrance In fact, from verse 21 -28 the
context is a legal setting where He promises to blot out transgressions if we put Him
in remembrance with the offering of the Burnt Sacrifices just as He did for Adam
the first father who sinned.
Mincha, #4503, minchah, a gift, to bestow a grain offering. This was ablood-less offering. All other sacrifices require bloodshed and relate to the
restoration or commitment of the Body back to YHVH. These intimate a close
relationship with YHVH and how to maintain it. The slaughter offerings
presented a vicarious taste of what would rightfully have been his or her end,
had YHVH judged us strictly in accordance with His Torah and had He not
offered Himself up in Yahshua to be the slaughter offering for our sins. "The
wages of sin is death" the Scriptures tell us. However, this blood-less offering
is connected to the Soul as seen in Lev. 2:1 which is interpreted and when any
will offer, yet is seen better in Hebrew: When ones soul desires to offer the
word for soul, Nephesh, #5315, nephesh, the breathing substance, that
living part of man. It would seem this cheapest in cost of all offerings would
be the least desirable, yet it becomes the most significant in representing the

soul, mind, or breath of the one who is approaching Abba! Is it possible that
Paul references this Minchah in Rom. 12: 1, 2? Incidentally, the letters that
spell nephesh, when rearranged to form #8226, saphan, a verb meaning
to cover a treasure. The skin of the Olah, atoning the flesh, would cover the
treasure soul/mind of the one coming to YHVH, yet the soul would stillrequire a renewal by the choice of the individual. It would seem the Olah
offering would demonstrate a physical act of obedience, while the Mincha
involved the spirit/soul/mind wholly committed, thus becoming the highest
offering available even to those who have meager funds or abilities!
There is another deeper level as well. The letters of minchah can also spell#4264, machaneh, meaning camp, host or company. This word is used
in Ezek. 1: 24 to describe the sound of the Cherubim (who form the wheel
within the wheel) as that of a great host. The creatures remember, have theface of a Lion, Man, Ox, and an Eagle, the same picture as that of Israels
alignment around the Tabernacle! They also represent the 4-corners of the
Zodiac which forms a covering SKIN, a chuppah of protection over the
Bride of YHVH. In their physical alignment around the wilderness tabernacle
Israel represents this same skin of protection around the Soul/Breath/Womb
the intimate place known as the Tent of Meeting! While on a smaller scale, the
physical body of Adam itself had a skin that covered the intimate place the
nephesh!
Peace Offering, Shelamim Qarbano. In this particularritual the Priests and the one who offers it, share in the meat of this gift. Since
the Priest functions as Messiah our mediator, this represents a thanksgiving
offering to celebrate the Peace that we now have with Abba. It is a reminder
of the Prodigal Son who upon his return has the fatted calf killed on his
behalf. When you think of approaching YHVH, are you conscious of being
accepted or are you trying to be accepted? That is the difference between a
son and a slave. The offerings of Vayiqra were for sons, those who knew they
were accepted by the Almighty. The Peace offering was literally a meal withAbba! Rev. 3: 20 Behold I stand at the door and knockWe see the same
pattern in Ex. 24: 9 -11 where Moshe, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu and 70 Elders eat
this Peace offering with YHVH. There are a total of 74 individuals here:
which is the value of Hadassah, the Hebrew name of Esther the Hidden One,
who establishes peace for her people with the King! Hadassah means myrtle,
the tree whose branches are used to construct the Sukkah, the tent of meeting,

the SKIN or covering for the intimate place! Once again, connecting the dots
in our pattern!
Sin Offering, #2403, chatta'ath, specifically for those sins which werecommitted in ignorance. The basic definition means to miss the mark like anarrow which goes astray, it also hints to deviate from a path or to cross a
boundary. Ironically, Torah, which means teachings and instructions and is
from the root, yarah, #3384, indicating to teach or shoot as an arrow. Thus,
to sin is to stray from Torah or to not have been taught Torah. We must
remember that time is a boundary or path that the Sun/Son travels between
divine appointments. To cross or stray from this path (The Sabbath and/or
Festivals) whether ignorantly or intentional, puts us outside the boundary.
The root of chattaath is Chet-Tet-Alef, chata, to sin. Its gematria is 18 thevalue of the Hebrew word for life Chai. Both have the letter Chet, the
symbol of life, new beginnings and also a fence or place of protection. The
Torah provides that place. If one allows the Tet serpent access to the womb
instead of the Alef, then sin occurs. Tets value = 9. 1+8=9, 2x9=18. This
number 18 connects us back to the Mincha or grain/flour offering which
followed the Olah sacrifice daily. It must have NO leavening agent in it. The
Sages teach if the bread is left unattended for 18 minutes natural leavening
agents in the air will contaminate it! Should we watch over ourselves lest the
Prince of the Power of the Air infect us?
It is fitting the Alef is so prominent in this Parsha being diminished in our
Title - Vayikra, and in this word chata as well. Alef represents the Chief One,
the Ox-head in the Paleo. It was required to place ones hand upon the head of
the offering to be slain, thus transferring our sin and guilt to Him.
Trespass offering, #817, 'asham, the offering to atone for guilt, blameor transgression. Lev. 5: 6. Our English word ashamed derives from this
root. It could also be connected to Usury, the sin of charging interest on a
debt. How ironic that YHVH discharges debt when we confess our sin, yet the
enemy exacts his usury. The word for interest charged in Torah is: #5392,
neshek, interest, usury. It is spelled the same as the verb nasak, meaning
the bite of a serpent. Sin, death, sickness, etc. are the usury on the debt owed.
Though paid in full, while still in these fleshly bodies, we must apply the
trespass offering to satisfy this until the effects are completely eradicated. This

is seen in the encounter of Jacob and Esau where the latter falls upon his neck
to kiss/bite to exact interest for what was owed! Gen. 33: 4. Here we see in the
Hebrew text 6 dots above the phrase6 is the number of Man, the Vav-Man. Messiah became the Scapegoat bitten for our
sin. At Yom Kippur, the Day of Covering our sins, He would have a scarlet cord
(blood from the bite?) tied around His neck, along with a corresponding one in the
Temple. If YHVH accepted the repentance of the People the cord would turn white.
