VAN TEQUILA EXPO VANTEQUILAEXPO May 23 - 28, 2016 Vancouver International Tequila Expo (VITE) is Western Canada’s largest festival dedicated to Mexico’s number one export spirit. The festival aims to increase the presence of 100% agave spirits in the British Columbia and Alberta market. Tequila is a $25 million dollar/year category in British Columbia and growing every year - especially in the high-end premium category. The VITE, with the help of the Consulate General of Mexico, Mexico Tourism Board, and ProMexico will fuel that growth even further. The event focuses around the Grand Tasting Saturday, May 28, 2016. From 7-10 pm, we oer an evening tasting for ticket purchasers. From 4-6 pm, we will host a trade tasting for industry members. Together, these two sessions provide exposure to a large customer base. Vancouver Agave Week takes place from May 23 to 28. For additional exposure, opportunities exist for exhibitors and sponsors to participate in additional events throughout the week. 6 WHY: The Vancouver International Tequila Expo was created to increase awareness and sales of Mexico's best-known agave spirit, tequila. We focus the public's attention on 100% agave premium and ultra-premium tequilas and mezcals that, like Champagne and Cognac, are Denomination of Origin-protected products from specific regions in Mexico. Premium tequila entered our market and established a foothold in the 1990s. This event intends to strengthen the market-share and grow your brands to the next level through education and awareness.

WHO ATTENDS: A core group of agave spirit aficionados, cocktail imbibers, and other high end luxury products consumers with significant disposable incomes. Our ticket purchasers are primarily urban professionals ranging from 25 to 55 years old. Spirits buyers from across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island will be invited to the afternoon Trade Tasting.

Target attendance is 1200 people. Tickets will be for sale on the

event website: www.vantequilaexpo.com.

EXHIBITOR BRAND TABLES: To exhibit at the Vancouver International Tequila Expo and build your brand through exposure at the largest tequila and mezcal event in Western Canada, please fill in the attached form including details of the 3 products that you wish to feature. $450 per brand table paid in full by end of day December 31, 2015; $550 if received by end of day March 1. $650 if payment received on or after March 2. Those brands who confirm before the end of the year, will be promoted with the ticket sales launch in January.

COMPETITION SPONSOR: We have one opportunity for a tequila or mezcal brand to sponsor the annual Cocktail Competition. This offers additional profile for your company to bartenders and mixologists competing in the challenge which takes place live at the Main Event. Brand materials will be featured on the stage and competitors will be required to use the featured brand in their cocktail creation. $4000 sponsorship fee

Our attendees represent a cross section of Vancouver’s tequila and mezcal aficionados, top restaurateurs and foodies and are, in the majority, university educated, urban professionals seeking a fun and educational evening out.

Having a brand table at the event provides an opportunity for exposure and recognition by attendees after the event. Each table at the event is required to be brand specific. Should your agency wish to display multiple brands, multiple tables can be booked and placed side by side on the show floor (must be requested in advance).

Unlike other industry events, each exhibitor package includes tickets to the Grand Tasting Event - these passes are ideal for client entertainment or appreciation.
