Cinekid and Media Literacy

-  Mission: To strengthen children’s (quality) awareness in relation to media that affect their cognitive, emotional and social development.

-  Learning how media is being made -  Learning about the influence of media on everyday life

-  Focusing on audiovisual media

How?

-  Workshops or (interactive) materials -  At any location (at home, school, library, etc.) -  Preferring embedded lessons

-  Meeting new technologies -  Stimulating creativity -  Learning by doing -  Working together -  Some examples of best practices
