The game is a form of draughts with players starting with eight counters each. The counters are each numbered and show an animal's headon a black or red ground. The players must attempt to capture or trap their opponent's markers without being caught. The 'water' must becircumnavigated, and any markers landing in it are removed from play. The den is a safe area.
