Crosby’s Series 800 adjustable blowdown, Series 900 fixed blowdown OMNI-TRIM®, and BP OMNI-TRIM® full nozzle pressure relief valves have a simplified, single trim design with superior application versatility.
Features• Relieving capacities certified by NationalBoard of Boiler and Pressure VesselInspectors. Certification includes air andsteam for Series 800, and air, steam andwater for Series 900. BP certificationincludes air and water.
• Valves manufactured in accordance withthe requirements of ASME Boiler andPressure Vessel Code Section VIII andSection III.
• Superior seat tightness. Precision lappedflat metal-to-metal seats, or elastomer orTFE O-ring soft seats provide the ultimate in seat tightness. (Elastomer or TFE O-ring seat standard for Series BP.)
• Maximum corrosion resistance. Trimcomponents are stainless steel asstandard. All 316 stainless steel, Monel®,Hastelloy® and NACE* optionalconstructions are available.
• Spring standardization. Standard Series800 and 900 pressure relief valves aresuitable for inlet temperatures to 750°F[399°C], using a 17-7PH stainless steelspring. Series BP is suitable for inlettemperatures to 400°F [204°C].
• Fewer parts result in increased reliabilityand ease of maintenance.
• Series 800 pressure relief valves have anexternal blowdown adjustment allowing for short blowdown, smaller differentialbetween operating and set pressures, andreduced product loss.
• Series 900 valves use a single trim designfor liquid, gas and vapor services.
• Series 900 valves provide reliableblowdown without the need foradjustment.
• The Series BP with its balance pistondesign offsets the effects of variable backpressure on valve set pressure.
• Series BP valves can handle applicationsinvolving high built-up back pressure.
