Day 1: USA – Madrid • Depart the USA on an international ﬂight to Spain. Day 2: Madrid • After arrival, meet your Guide and board your motorcoach. • Sightseeing tour of the major sights of the Spanish capital. • Check in to your hotel, and if time remains, walk through the historic area of Madrid. • Enjoy a Welcome Dinner. Day 3: Madrid – Avila – Segovia – Salamanca • Depart Madrid and drive to Segovia for a walking tour including the Alcazar. • Continue traveling to Avila. A walking tour will include the medieval city walls and the historic part of this town. • Dinner and overnight will be in Salamanca. Day 4: Salamanca • After breakfast, get to know the town on a walking tour which includes the University. • Spend the afternoon shopping and explore the town on your own. Day 5: Salamanca – Cuenca • Drive to Cuenca, famous for its “Casas Colgadas” (hanging houses). • Afternoon guided walking tour. Day 6: Cuenca – Valencia • Depart to Valencia. • City sightseeing tour after arrival. Valencia is a city of art and science since Greek times. Due to its mild climate year round, life is lived outdoors in public gardens and sidewalk cafés. • Tonight you will be introduced to the famous Valencia dish “Paella”. Day 7: Valencia • Whole day in Valencia for shopping, visiting one of the world’s largest market places or visiting one of the museums.
