HI I AM YOUR NEW CLUB SECRETARY! BY SYLVIA H.

Hi Everyone,You may not know it yet, but I am the new club secretary. It happened justrecently and I am getting adjusted to my new responsibilities. I hope to serve youwell. Well its the holiday season and I hope everyone is enjoying this yearsfestivities. There are lots of things going on here at the club. So check yourcalendar and join us. New years is right around the corner. Lets all make theresolution to have a better year than last! Dues will be due and believe me $10

dollars for the year will make it so that you can be included in a lot ofactivities. It is definitely worth it. So let us all enjoy whats left of theholiday season. With our hearts and minds set on having a happy,healthy, and prosperous, new year. Peace and hope!!

Happy New Year to all of the Social Club members. Another great year has gone byat the club. We had a very busy holiday season. We had parties at the ShorelineSocial Club, Emmett OBrien School, as well as two parties at our club. We have alsohad lots of changes on our club 'counsel board. As you all are aware Carol B is goingto school now and she decided to step down as V.P. In her place Donna K. hasstepped into the role. We also have a secretary now. Sylvia H. will be our newSecretary which is great because we have not had one in a while. We are lookingforward to another happy and active year at the club so always watch the clubcalendar in the newsletter and please stop by the club because something is always

CHRISTMAS PARTIES FUN FOR ALL!

A FACELIFT FOR THE FELLOWSHIP CLUB

We went to Branford for Thanksgiving dinner . The tables were

decorated very elegantly and the food was delicious. We wereable to socialize with other members from the OPTIONS club.We stay to help to clean up. We had a wonderful time.

PEER RUN SUPPORT GROUPS

MONDAY-

3-4PM- OVER EATERS ANONYMOUS - For those individuals in need of support for all eatingdisorders-Meetings are held in the 1st floor clinic meeting room. Call John Dykman at 203-736-2601,Ext. 431.

TUESDAY

4-5 PM-AA GROUP- A group that lends support for alcohol addictions based on the 12-stepprogram. The Meeting is held at the Valley Social Club.Please call John Dykman at 203-736-2601, Ext. 431.

5-7pm-SOBER SOCIAL Come to this fun group held at the club for anyone who

would like to learn a new game, and learn how to socialize with others in a fun and unique way! Thegroup also shares a light dinner too! Rides provided only after the conclusion of group if needed.Call 203-732-7089 for more information.

WEDNESDAY-

1-2pm-NICOTINE ANONYMOUS-12- Step Group to assist with quitting or support

of quitting your tobacco habit. Located in the Lower Level of BHCARE, Call John Dykman at 203-736-2601, Ext. 431.

THURSDAY-

2-3PM-AA MTG. held weekly in the Lower Level Conference Room of BHcare. Everyone is welcome toattend that is in recovery. This is a 12-Step Support Group.

4-5-PM- DUAL RECOVERYANONYMOUSFor anyone needing support for

emotional and psychiatric disorders and addiction issues. This 12-Step Support Group is conducted atthe Valley Social Club for more information please call John Dykman at 203-736-2601, Ext. 431.
