About JRMSU

The Jose Rizal Memorial State

University (JRMSU) was established in

2009. JRMSU is committed to providing

quality education to persons who

demonstrate the potential to become

quality students, particularly from

minority communities, while fostering

multi-cultural diversity. JRMSU is home

to over 3000 students from over 20

municipalities and is known for the

numerous financial aid and scholarship

opportunities made available to

students.

JRMSU Main Campus is located in Dapitan City that lies on the tip of Zamboanga del Norte and Northwestern coast of the island of Mindanao with approximate geographical coordinates of 8o50’ North latitude and 123o30’ East longitude. It is about 404 nautical miles (or 650 kilometers) Southwest of Metropolitan Manila; 156 nautical miles to Zamboanga City; 111 nautical miles to Cebu City; 44 nautical miles to Dumaguete City; and 14 kilometers to Dipolog City.

Business Administration major is a general

major designed to maximize the student’s

flexibility. This program is ideal for the

student who is interested in a major that

surveys the field of business and

complements a technical or non-business

secondary concentration, as well as

students who are looking for a general

business degree to prepare for a specialist

graduate degree

understanding in business. A degree in

Business Administration will allow students

to pursue career opportunities in a variety

of areas within the field of business

including marketing, general management

and human resource management. The

Business Administration program prepares

graduates for a variety of career options.

Some of these careers are: Management

Analyst, Budget Analyst, Administrative

Manager, Sales Manager and Market

Research Analyst. Many students will enter

graduate school within a several years of

graduation.
