Vaikundarajan Sends His Best Wishes To The Film Crew of Rudhramadevi

Gunasekhar's Rudhramadevi is riding on a viral wave across the internet. The trailer has been a hit with the audience. "To add to the great start, the Telengana government has exempted the movie from entertainment tax," says Vaikundarajan.

The announcement was made by Telengana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. The Chief Minister further added that this exemption is given as the film is based on the Kaktiya dynasty and the life of warrior queen Rudhramadevi.

Anushka Shetty, who last played the role of queen in the blockbuster Bahubali, plays the lead role in the film. The film also stars Allu Arjun and Rana Daggubati. The movie is scheduled for October 9 release in Telangana and other states.

"The film is made on a budget of 80 crore and shot in Telugu and Tamil first," informs Vaikundarajan. The movie was later dubbed into Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam.

Rudhramadevi will be released in 2D and 3D formats in over 160 screens in the USA.
