All vacuum elements are produced at BINP in accordance to the European standards and satisfy the requirements for ultra high-vacuum equipment. 80 compensators, 70 absorbers, 100 contacts were successfully installed to the BESSY-II ring in 1997 and have ensured vacuum better than 10-8 Pa.
