DAY THREE8:00am Now that you’re settled in, dive into southern culture with a Cajun-style breakfast at Red Rae’s Restaurant.

Insider Tip: The Andouille sausage omelet and gouda grits are a must.

9:30am Pier Park has great shopping and activities for everyone. You’ll find all the staple stores you need to spend hours going from rack to rack.

12:00pm After shopping, grab some lunch at Pompano Joe’s Seafood House.

Insider Tip: Request a seat outside and gaze at the Gulf of Mexico.

1:30pm Before heading back to your rental home, stop at Marble Slab Creamery. Choose from unique flavors like birthday cake and banana pudding ice cream.

5:00pm Let the kids spend some quality time with grandma and grandpa at the rental home, and get ready for a romantic night out on the town.

6:00pm Get dressed up (in beach lingo, “dressed up” is a loose term) and head to Firefly. With it voted one of the Most Romantic Restaurants by OpenTable, you’ll want to make reservations in advance.

8:00pm If you’re looking for a spot to catch a nightcap, swing by Schooners, the Last Local Beach Club. Just steps from the sand, this relaxed restaurant and bar is a great place to get a drink and listen to some live music.

DAY FOUR9:30am Sleep in, you’re on vacation! Then whip up a quick and sustaining breakfast like a yogurt parfait or oatmeal before heading out to explore. Swing by Fatty’s Sandwich Shop after 10:00am to pick up lunch to go – you’re going to the park!

10:30am Visit St. Andrews State Park, a beautiful reservation with one-and-a-half miles of beaches on the Gulf of Mexico and Grand Lagoon. Follow the signs to Shell Island (open seasonally) where you’ll find nesting seabirds and a myriad of shells along the beaches.

12:00pm Dig into the sandwiches you brought along. Share tastes with your friends and family, and then vote on who ordered the best one!

1:30pm Spend your afternoon at St. Andrews State Park with some bird watching. If you’re looking for something more energetic, head to the park’s camp store for canoe and kayak rentals and check out the Grand Lagoon from a different angle.

6:00pm On your way back to your rental, swing by Local Steamer Seafood Market for some local grouper and be the chef for the night.

Insider Tip: The local chefs recommend cooking with butter, lemon, and capers for mouthwatering goodness.

8:00pm End with a family movie night in the living room!

DAY FIVE8:00am Get in some morning stretches and have a light breakfast before taking a chartered fishing tour.

Insider Tip: Pick up some lunch to take with you. First Watch – The Daytime Café offers seasonal, fresh produce from local growers.

6:00pm Celebrate your last night in paradise with an in-rental dinner. Prepare a Southern dish like this recipe for Pan-Seared Grouper with Balsamic Brown Butter Sauce, compliments of Southern Living.

9:30am Get ready for the fishing excursion of a lifetime when you board your boat through Tomcat Fishing Charters. Trips range from four hours to two or more days, but start light with just a day trip.

8:00pm Decide with your friends and family on your favorite nighttime activity of the week and then do it again, whether that’s a game night in or a nightcap out.

12:00pm Whether you packed leftovers, homemade sandwiches, or grabbed a meal from First Watch, take advantage of your lunch time by casting line.

4:00pm Stroll along Front Beach Road for a scenic view of the Gulf of Mexico, and make your way to Runaway Island for beachside dining. If you’re there early enough, you can take advantage of their early bird specials going on until 5:30pm.

8:00pm If you’re looking to stay out, Front Beach Road is a great place. Or, head back to your rental for an evening dip, if you have access to a pool.

DAY SIX8:00am Get the whole crew involved in whipping up a southern breakfast with all the fixin’s! Savor some bacon, eggs, and biscuits.

9:30am Set up shop at the beach! Bring along a cooler with some snacks and refreshments. And don’t forget the sunscreen!

12:00pm When you’re ready, grab a quick lunch at Hook’d Pier Bar & Grill. Their seafood options won’t disappoint. Not to mention, the backdrop of the ocean is sure to keep your beach vibes going.

1:30pm Head back to the beach for some more fun in the sun.

DAY SEVEN7:30am Sadly, the day has come to leave Panama City Beach. But don’t fret! The fun is far from over. It’s time to whip up all the breakfast food that’s left in the fridge and get ready for the day.

8:45am Once you clear out the kitchen, head to the beach for some last-minute sun. If you’re traveling with children, this can wear them out before the trek back home.

10:30am It’s time to clean up, pack up and head out of your rental. ResortQuest’s Glad to Have You app lets you simply get in the car and hit “check-out” when you’re ready. But you may want to visit the local office to secure the property for your vacation next year!

Insider Tip: Current guests have first right of refusal on their condo or home for the same week next summer.
