4:00pm: Check into your vacation rental home! Get settled, stock the fridge, get the lay of the land and claim your bedroom.

6:00pm: Head to Z’s Amazing Kitchen and introduce your taste buds to the local fare.

Insider Tip: They feature some of the best in fresh seafood and craft brews.

8:00pm: Return to your home-away-from-home for an early night – tomorrow, the real fun begins!

DAY ONE

DAY TWO8:00am: Head to Blue Bistro, which is in the main lobby at Bay Watch Resort, and enjoy an immense buffet breakfast while taking in the beautiful oceanfront view.

9:30am: Take a drive to Barefoot Landing, and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the beautiful waterways. Catch a glimpse of a gator while tasting some of the best homemade salt-water taffy from Wee R Sweetz. Shop the many boutiques where you can purchase that unique souvenir for your friends back home.

12:00pm: Enjoy lunch back in your rental. Have a competition to see who can make the best sub sandwich.

1:30pm: Take advantage of the beautiful sunshine and enjoy the ocean just steps from your rental. Hit the beach in style with a cooler full of goodies and a cute bag with colorful beach towels. Relax in the sun and don’t forget the sunscreen.

6:00pm: With a variety of restaurants to choose from, Restaurant Row is the perfect destination for dinner. Located on Highway 17 with a selection of nearly 20 restaurants, you can dine on anything from fresh, local seafood to Italian fare. There is sure to be something to please the entire family.

8:00pm: On your way home, pick up a great movie from a local DVD box. Enjoy a family night relaxing from your first busy day with some snacks and a quiet night spent in your beautiful condo.

DAY THREE8:00am: Breakfast in bed is a great start to the day, and with a fully-equipped kitchen, it’s easy to indulge in this special treat. Whip up an omelet and slice up some fresh fruit then surprise your loved one.

9:30am: Time for an adventure. New Wave Water Sports offers a variety of water activities including parasailing and banana boat rides. Get that early morning adrenaline rush and enjoy spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. You may even catch a glimpse of a dolphin.

Insider Tip: Check their website prior to booking your excursion as they regularly offer discounts.

12:00pm: Enjoy lunch outside as you share stories about your morning adventures on the high seas. Sandtrap Sports Bar offers a variety of tasty sandwiches to-go, so you can enjoy them poolside at your rental.

1:30pm: Head to Tanger Outlets just a few miles down the road and shop their vast selection of outlet stores.

6:00pm: After a day filled with adventure and laughter, it’s a great night to order pizza. Enjoy a tasty pizza from Ultimate California Pizza Company.

8:00pm: Take an evening stroll along the coast. Feel the sand between your toes and the cool ocean water on your feet. Bring a blanket to do some star gazing.

DAY FOUR8:00am: Hit one of the many local pancake houses and enjoy some Southern-style cooking. You can enjoy pancakes of all varieties including many featuring freshly grown, local produce. Peach pancakes anyone?

10:30am: Beach Day! What better way to spend a vacation day then relaxing oceanfront? Enjoy the sand, sun and waves. Pack a picnic lunch. Bring a boogie board, and try your hand at body surfing. Scout for shells and sharks teeth, or simply relax and enjoy an afternoon nap. Just remember the sunscreen.

4:00pm: Head back to the room to rinse off the sand and plan for a fun-filled evening. If grandparents are part of your vacation, enjoy an old-fashioned date night. Plan the perfect evening with your significant other and remind each other of what things were like when you first met.

6:00pm: Enjoy oceanfront dining in the Blue Bistro restaurant. Experience fresh, local seafood or order a hearty steak and baked potato. Whatever you choose, you can be assured it will be fresh, prepared with a Southern flair.

8:00pm: For an unforgettable night out, visit Broadway at the Beach. Broadway’s Celebrity Square is the spot. You can relax at the country-themed bar and grill, dance the night away at one of several high-energy dance clubs, laugh until your sides hurt at the comedy club or get in on the act at the dueling pianos show.

DAY FIVE8:00am: Enjoy a healthy breakfast in your fully-stocked condo. The many farmers markets are a great place to find an abundance of fresh produce. Some fresh fruit, yogurt and rolled oats are the perfect start to another day!

10:30am: Experience the great outdoors with a kayaking adventure! Great Escapes Kayak offers a variety of choices including the nature-filled salt marshes of Cherry Grove Beach, Waites Island and trips down the serene Waccamaw River.

Insider Tip: Kayaking not your thing? They rent paddleboards too. You might even encounter dolphins and sea turtles!

8:00pm: An evening walk on the beach soothes the soul, so amble along the shoreline recounting the amazing week you’ve experienced. Afterwards, it’s early to bed for your return trip home.

4:00pm: After a day filled with sightseeing and nature, an hour or so on the pool deck back at your rental is the perfect way to wind down. Many Oceana Resorts locations feature entertainment on the pool deck as well as a variety of activities for the children.

6:00pm: A fun-filled family dinner is on tap. Barefoot Landing is just the place. Joe’s Crab Shack features a wide array of fresh seafood in a fun, casual setting. Why not strap on a bib and try their famous Low Country Boil? We know you’ll love it!

DAY SIX8:00am: It’s hard to believe this is your last full day of vacation. You’ll want to make the most of it, so wake up early and have a quick bite to eat.

10:30am: Head to the dock to experience the thrill of the Sea Thunder Boat Excursion. The Sea Thunder is a 65-foot 1997 Aqua Bay Marine boat powered by a 2100-horsepower turbocharged diesel.

Insider Tip: Be sure to bring a waterproof bag to stow your phone. You will get wet!

4:00pm: Return to your room after your adventures to share stories about the day. Hanging out on the balcony with a nice glass of wine is the perfect way to relax before another exciting dinner out. If you want to get out, why not venture to La Belle Amie Vineyard? Their beautiful setting is the perfect place to unwind and sample an array of local wines.

8:00pm: After a long day, you’re ready to relax in your condo. Stop for another movie to enjoy on your way home. You’ll want to turn in early since tomorrow is the last full day of your amazing stay.

6:00pm: The Ultimate California Pizza Game Room is your destination. The perfect place for an end of vacation celebration, kids both young and old will enjoy the enormous game room with everything from the latest in video gaming to old fashioned Skeeball. Enjoy delicious gourmet pizza or a yummy overstuffed sandwich and spend the final evening of your vacation with a friendly game of Laser Frenzy.

DAY SEVEN7:30am: Sadly, the day has come to leave Myrtle Beach. But don’t fret! The fun is far from over. It’s time to whip up all the breakfast food that’s left in the fridge and get ready for the day.

8:30am: Once you clear out the kitchen, go down to the beach for one last walk or bring the kids to the pool and wear them out before the drive or flight back home.

10:30am: It’s time to clean up, pack up and head out of your rental. Stop by the front desk and let them know how your stay was. Then, visit TripAdvisor to write a quick review of your experience.
