Investigate causes of drop of water pressure and ensure remedial action is carried out.

Interact with community members on water and sanitation issues and take measures to address problem.

Coordinates and controls activities associated with controlling personnel performance, productivity and discipline.

Performs administrative and reporting requirements.

ACQUISITION OFFICER – SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT Task Grade 11 - Salary Scale R248, 074.00 – R322, 012.00 per

annum plus benefits Minimum Requirements

Matric B. Comm Degree: Economics and Supply Chain Management /National

Diploma or relevant qualification majoring in Supply Chain or Accounting at NQF level 5/6.

At least 3 - 5 years relevant experience.

Valid driver’s license Proof of Computer Literacy

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Responsible for the efficient and effective performance of the acquisition

staff by providing direction, leadership and coordination. Manages the District Municipality’s internal sourcing requirements in

compliance with SCM policy and CHDM’s budgetary constraints Facilitates the Tender process, including the coordination of the Bid

Evaluation Committee

Provides guidance and oversight in respect of effective administration of the acquisition procurement function and the valid, accurate and

complete documentation of all procurement transactions, Liaises with and provides local municipalities with support on acquisition

matters.

Ensures that procurement is in line with the framework for SCM and all other statutory prescripts.

Pro-actively reviews current systems and procedures in the light of key stakeholder requirements and changing circumstances

Ensures that the procedures, systems and processes for Acquisitions information collection, recording, analysis and reporting operate accurately and efficiently.

/ applicant is found canvassing any of the panelists he / she automatically disqualify him/herself. Appointments will be subjected

to compulsory pre-employment screening in the form of qualification, reference, criminal checks and competency assessment (where applicable). Candidate in possession of foreign qualification should

attach a certificate of evaluation of their qualifications from SAQA. If the candidate has not been contacted within a month after the closing
