Theravada Buddha Sasana Organization will restart a series of Abhidhamma lectures (2017) as follows: v In English every Wednesday from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. v In Burmese every Saturday from 4:00PM to 6:00PM.

Abhidhamma is the Higher Teaching of the Buddha, sometimes referred to as the ultimate teaching (paramattha desanā). In it, man is described as a physical being consisting of both mind and matter, and it gives a microscopic analysis of the human being. Undoubtedly Abhidhamma is extremely helpful to comprehend fully the word of the Buddha and realise Nibbāna, as it presents a key to open the door of reality. It deals with realities and a practical way of noble living, based on the experience of those who have understood and realised. Without a knowledge of the Abhidhamma one at times finds it difficult to understand the real significance of some profound teachings of the Buddha. To develop Insight (Vipassanā) Abhidhamma is certainly very useful. But one cannot positively assert that Abhidhamma is absolutely necessary to gain one’s Deliverance. Understanding or realisation is purely personal (sandiññhika). The four Noble Truths that form the foundation of the Buddha’s teaching are dependent on this one fathom body. The Dhamma is not apart from oneself. Look within. Seek yourself. The truth will unfold itself.

ဓမၼမတေဆြ သေတာစငအေပါငးတ႔ ...... ဓမၼဂဏရည မဟာစညရပသာေကာငးတြင ၂ဝ၁၇-ခႏစ ဇနနဝါရလ(၁၄)ရက စေနေန႔မစတငလက မမႏငေလာက သဘာဝတ႔က တတကက နားလညေစရန ႏင ဝပနာ ဘာဝနာတရားက ပြားမားအားထတျခငး အစရသည တ႔တြင လြနစြာ အေထာကအကျပႏငသည ပ႒ာနးအေျခခ ဗဒၶအဘဓမၼာတရားေတာက အပတစဥ စေနေန႔တငး ျပနလည သငၾကားေပးသြား မညျဖစေၾကာငး တကေရာက ေလလာႏငၾကရန နဗၺာနအကးေမာ၍ အသေပးႏႈးေဆာ အပပါသည။ အဘဓမၼာက သငယျခငးျဖင ဓမၼအသဉာဏက မားစြာဖြ႕ျဖးႏင၏။ အဘဓမၼာသေဘာ နားလညတတသမႈသည အႏၶပထဇဥ (ကနးမကသည ပထဇဥ) အျဖစမ လြတေျမာကေအာင၊ ကလာဏပထဇဥ (ေတာဝငပထဇဥ) အျဖစသ႔ ေရာကေအာင စြမးေဆာငႏငသည။ နာမရပပရေစၦဒဉာဏ ရငသနေစသည။ စဠေသာတာပန (ေသာတာပန အငယ စား) ဘဝသ႔လညး ေရာကေစႏငသည။ အဘဓမၼာသည သဘာဝတရားမားက ခြျခမးစတျဖာ၍ ေဟာၾကားသည ေဒသနာျဖစျခငးေၾကာင အဘဓမၼာက သငယေလလာျခငးသည ပဋသမၻဒါဉာဏက ရေစႏင၏။ ပဋသမၻဒါဉာဏ ဆသညမာ အေၾကာငး အကး ဘာသာစကားႏင အသဉာဏပငးဆငရာတ႔က ခြျခားစပျဖာ သႏငေသာဉာဏ (Analytical Knowledge)မး ျဖစ၏။ ထ႔အျပင အဘဓမၼာက သငယပါက “အနတ သဘာဝ”က ပမရငးလငး ျပတသားစြာ ျမငႏင၏။ အနတက ျမငမသာ သသယကငးစင၏။ အမနက ျမင၏။ အမနျမငျခငး ႏင သသယ ကငးျခငး (ဒ႒ ႏင ဝစကစာၦက ေကာလြနျခငး)တ႔ျဖင အပါယတခါး ပတႏငၿပး နဗၺာနတခါးဖြငႏင၏။ အဘဓမၼာ သငယရျခငး၏ အကးေကးဇးတ႔မာ မားလပါ၏။ ထ႔ေၾကာင ဗဒၶျမတစြာ၏ သာသနာေတာႀကးႏင ေတြ႕ၾကရသည အခနေကာငးအခါေကာငး အခြငအလနးေကာငးက လကလြတဆးရႈးမႈ မျဖစရေအာင အျမတဆး အဘဓမၼာတရားက မပကမကြကၾကြေရာက သငယေလလာၾကပါရန ဓမၼမတေဆြအေပါငးသေတာေကာငးတ႔အား ေစတနာေကာငးျဖင အထးတကတြနးႏႈးေဆာအပပါသည။
