What is Uni Sport For Kids?Uni Sport For Kids runs during school holidays and is a fun and exciting, multi-sport day camp for children aged 5-12. Uni Sport For Kids exposes children to many different sports in a friendly, non-competitive environment.

With the focus on participation and having a good time, this program is excellent for introducing kids to new sports and for keeping them active and happy during the school holidays.

Uni Sport For Kids is run by an experienced team of enthusiastic and friendly leaders, made up of UWA Sports staff, Sport Science, Exercise and Health students, Education students, UWA graduates and school teachers. All leaders are well trained in a variety of sports and each has first aid training, a current police clearance and a Working With Children Check.

As well as our USFK leaders, we incorporate specialist groups into the program each day, such as:

• the West Coast Eagles (Football)

• West Coast Fever (Netball)

• Perth Glory (Soccer)

• Perth Wildcats (Basketball)

• Western Force (Rugby)

• Claremont Tigers Football Club

and perennial favourites: the Flying Fox and the Giant Swing.

Due to the success and the need to adequately staff the program, pre-enrolment one week before the commencement of the program is recommended.

Friend For Free Day

The ‘Friend For Free’ promotion encourages children to bring a friend to the Uni Sport for Kids program on set days for free. The friends attending for free must stay for the same time as the paying child, must be attending the program for the first time ever, and may not be a relative. This year the promotion will run on Wednesdays.

UWA Recreation & Fitness Centre, Car Park 1, 35 Stirling Highway Crawley. Visitors paid parking is available in front of the centre.

What To Bring

Non-marking sandshoes, a hat and morning tea (adequate lunch and afternoon tea if staying until 3:30pm or 5:15pm). Children are not permitted to purchase food or drink without a parent or guardian present.

Receipts are given as requested and sent in the fortnight after the program. The provider number is 555-017-0135.
