UW LEND Training Opportunities open to UW MCH Training Program Trainees
UW LEND invites you to participate in the following opportunities, we hope you will join us.
UW LEND Seminars A 1-hour seminar (sometimes expanded to 1.5 hours) on topics related to developmental
disability and MCH leadership presented by experts in the field.
Mondays 12:30-1:30 pm

No pre-registration required – you may join in person or by Zoom. Most seminars are recorded
and available within 2-3 days of the presentation; see online seminar schedule for access.
MCH Leadership Workshop Monthly 2.5 hour seminars focused on interactive learning in small group cohorts. Topics focus
on the MCH 4.0 Leadership Competencies. Scheduled the first Monday of each month.

Clinical Observations You may observe interdisciplinary diagnostic assessments by various disciplines in LEND/CTU
Clinics at the CHDD. This includes:
▪ Child Development Clinic on Monday, Tuesday
▪ Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Follow-up Clinic on Tuesday
▪ Down Syndrome Clinic on 3rd Tuesdays
▪ Infant Development Follow-Up Clinic on Wednesday
▪ Fetal Alcohol Clinic on Friday
Arrangements for observation must be made at least 4-weeks prior to desired observation date;
must complete UWMC Observation Application forms prior to the observation.
