Kontakti su sve brži i površniji, a utisci o kandidatu se mogu stvarati tek uz dobar PR i pametne medijske nastupeSmatra se da je politički marketing u savremenom smislu te reči nastao sa pojavom televizije u kampanjama (Francuska, SAD)
