Concessions to policyholders affected due to Terrorist Attack on 13/07/2011 in Mumbai:As a special measure, Corporation has decided to extend the following relaxations to the policyholders who are the victims of the terrorist attacks in Mumbai on 13/07/2011. Settlement of Death Claim :1. All claims will be treated as non-early irrespective of the duration of the policy. 2. Where there is any evidence in Govt./ Municipal records of the party having died due to the terrorist attack , the same will be accepted as proof of death. 3. If policy is lost or not traceable , then claim will be settled on the basis of indemnity bond duly notorized without insisting for surety or advertisement . No claim investigation will be conducted even if the claim is early-claim. Accident Benefit/ Disability Benefit wherever payable will be released without insisting on Police Report.(For details refer CO Cir. Ref: CO/CRM/834/23 dt. 14.07.2011)

Special Surrender Value and Settlement of Maturity Claim under Jeevan Shree Plans112,151,162 :It has been clarified that Jeevan Shree policies (T.No.s 112,151,162) having regular mode of premium payment, will acquire special surrender value/ paid up value after completion of one policy year provided the number of premiums have been paid for at least 1/10th of the premium paying term subject to a minimum of one full years premium. Also if any policy under Jeevan Shree plans comes for maturity claim where last years premiums remains unpaid , then maturity claim will be settled for reduced paid up value and not for full sum assured.(For details refer circular Ref: CO/CRM/835/23 dated 26.7.2011)

Scanning of Agency Dockets :As part of the EDMS project, the scanning of Agency Dockets at the Branch Offices will start soon. All the agency dockets in the Branch Offices will be taken up for scanning except those pertaining to Terminated Agents and those of agents not eligible for renewal commission. After scanning the images will be uploaded in the DO and BO EDMS servers.(For details refer CRM cir. Ref: CO/CRM/832/23 dt. 11.7.2011)

Reimbursement of Office Allowance to Club member agents :It has been decided by the competent authority to allow reimbursement of office allowance without insisting on production of original bills/receipts to CM/ZM Club member agents with a minimum 5 years standing in any of these clubs or membership in both clubs put together, For the same the eligible agent will have to give a declaration of expenses in the specified format. But for claiming telephone expenses supporting bills have to be submitted(For details refer CO cir. Ref: Mktg/zD/33/2011 dated 5.8.2011)

Samriddhi I New Business Competition for Agents :In order to increase the productivity levels of agents and for encouraging them to join the Swavalambhan or Samvardhan pension scheme, Corporation has floated a new business competition for agents Samriddhi- I for the current financial year also. The terms and conditions are as follows:Competition Period:1st April 2011 to 31st March 2012.

Allotment of Car/Jeeps to Development Officers under Scheme II (R)-Relaxation in the eligibility Condition:The eligibility conditions for sanction of four wheeler advance to Dev. Officers has been modified .The maximum financial limits of the loan to be advanced to the Dev. Officers shall be as follows:Average cost ratio Revised amount of advance or the purchase price of the car whichever is less Maximum ` 5 lac Maximum ` 7 lac Maximum ` 9 lac

Basic Condition :Only those agents who are members of one of the above two Pension schemes will be eligible under this competition. However an agent can become a member any time during the year and thereafter will be eligible for rewards under this competition. Qualifying Conditions for Agents :The agent must achieve the following performance levels for becoming eligible for rewards. No. of policies & lives in financial year 25 policies with minimum 20 lives 50 policies with minimum 40 lives 75 policies with minimum 60 lives100 policies with minimum 80 lives & above

Above 10% upto 15% Above 3% upto 10% 3% or less

Also Sr. D.M. in charge may allow short fall upto 20% (instead of earlier 10%) in any of the three counts ie, SFYPI/NO. of Lives/ Productive Agents if the short fall is compensated with growth in either of the other two counts or both.(For details refer circular Ref:Mktg/zD/31/2011dated 1.8.2011)

Revision in reimbursement limits of options to Chairmans Club Member Agents :From M.Y. 2010-11 onwards the maximum limit of reimbursement to Chairmans Club Member Agents opting to visit a place of choice in India alongwith spouse or opting for reimbursement towards Sales Promotional Gifts in lieu of attending convention has been enhanced from ` 12500/- and ` 12000/respectively to ` 14000/- w.e.f. M.Y. 2010-11. There is no change in the amount to be reimbursed for those who opt for training programme in lieu of attending Club Convention.(For details refer circular Ref: Mktg/zD/32/2011 dated 5.8.2011)

The reward earned by the agent shall be credited towards Agents Pension Fund in one of the above two Pension schemes depending upon the eligibility of the agent.( For details refer ci rcular Ref: Mktg/zD/30/2011 dt. 30.7.2011)
