National Vice-President, Liga Medicorum Homoeopath- ica Internationalis USSR, Dr V. G. Glaz with his able colleagues like Dr A. Visochansky con- ducted the congress extremely well. Fifteen countries participated in the congress. This is a unique occasion in the history of any national homoeopathic congress in the world. The author of this report has participated in many national homceopathic conferences in the world, where so many countries did not participate! The delegates were received from Moscow airport to the 'Yolchkh Rest House' a beautiful holiday resort, with fine woods and guest houses spread all over the complex, with excellent facili- ties! Food and beverages were supplied by the organizers. Even the banquet was hosted free of cost to the delegates by the Russian Homeeo- pathic Council and Russian Homceopathic Association. The music, dance and the short after-dinner speeches at the banquet were mem- orable! The delegates will cherish the memories for long, for their affectionate hospitality and the courteous concern for the happiness of the participants. Foreign delegates were accommodated in hotels free of cost for a day or two in Moscow for the convenience of their travel bookings. The foreign participants were taken round llth century churches with marvellous archi- tectural beauty. On the last day of the congress the foreign participants were shown the wonder- ful Tchaikovsky opera Maria at the 'Bolshoi' theatre. They were taken around Moscow and were given opportunity to see the finest under- ground system in the world! Dr A. Ghosh, Dr Niaz Ahmed and Dr Gop- ichand attended from the UK. Dr Carles Amen- gual, National Vice-President for Spain, presented a brief resume of the status of homoeo- pathy in the world. From India former LMHI President Dr Diwan Harisch Chand, Dr R. S. Pareek, Dr A. Parek, Dr Rastogi, Dr Leena Rastogi and Dr P, N. Pal attended the congress and presented papers. Dr Mohan and this author from India also presented papers. The docu- mentary on homeeopathy prepared by the Government of India Homeeopathic Research Council was shown to the delegates. Good papers were presented by the Russian delegates and other foreign delegates. The simultaneous translations into Russian, English, Spanish, Italian and French were done extremely well by the translators. Even the extempore speeches in the proceedings were translated well. At the end of the congress all the translators, including those who helped the doc- tors in the day-to-day management, were given a big ovation!
