USPA Begins Program to Offer Digital Copies of All Conference Presentations, 1978-2017

The United States Psychotronics Association (USPA) has initiated a program to make all of its USPA Conference presentations available on DVDs and other digital media. Through this program you will eventually be able to access all of the hundreds of presentations given over the years at USPA conferences from 1978 through 2017, and subsequent years. It will include all of the presentations given by such luminaries in the psychotronics field as (alphabetically):

Arden Anderson, Cleve Backster, Col. Thomas Bearden, Robert C. Beck, Robert Beutlich, Chris Bird, Tom Brown, Eldon Byrd, Phillip Callahan, Beverly Coleman, Bruce De Palma, Eric Dollard, Sherry Edwards, Jerry Fridenstine, Jerry G. Gallimore, Toby Grotz, Mary Hardy, Barbara Hero, T. Galen Hieronymus, Kathleen Joyce, Elen Kamhi, Peter Kelly, Moray B. King, John Klimo, Lutie Larsen, Samuel Lentine, Peter Lindemann, Andrew Michrowski, Henry Monteith, Peter Moscow, Preston Nichols, Brian O’Leary, Don Paris, Dale Pond, Andija Puharich, Elizabeth Rauscher, Glen Rein, Beverly Rubik, Carl Schleicher, Ed Skilling, Maj. Gordon Smith, Dennis Stillings, William Tiller, Thomas Valone, Marcel Vogel, Charles Whitehouse, and many, many more.

The DVDs of all of these USPA Conference presentations will be made available at http://uspa.emediapress.com/ , and presentations will be added year-by-year over time. Many of the presentations from 1978, 1979, and 1980, are already available, so please go to this website to see what presentations you may be interested in. And, of course, keep this website in your “favorites” folder and check back periodically to see new selections that have been added. Please be patient, however, because there are hundreds of presentations, and it will take some time to get them all up on the website for the forty years, 1978-2017. The DVDs for most recent years, 2016 and 2017, are not yet online, but are availble using the order forms on the following two pages.

Dr. Margaret M. Moga Obtains Copy of Missing Book Found in Only One Library in the World

Thanks to the hard work of Dr. Margaret M. Moga, Associate Professor, Dept. Anatomy & Cell Biology, Indiana University School of Medicine - Terre Haute, the USPA now has a copy of the extremely rare book, The Problem of Thought Transference in the Light of Radio-Technical Investigations, by Dr. Stefan Manczarski, published in Poland in 1947. The only library in the world that has a copy of this book is the National Library of Poland in Warsaw. However, through Dr. Moga’s efforts, she was able to obtain a copy, and sent it to the USPA Journal and Newsletter editor, John H. Reed, M.D., who will preserve it in the USPA Library and Archives.

You may recall that several months ago, this book was listed in the “Among the Missing” column of this journal. Manczarski’s book was said to have been published in London in 1945, and at least two references stated this: 1) A 1962 issue of International Journal of Parapsychology and 2) In Daniel S. Halacy’s 1966 book, Radiation, Magnetism and Living Things - page 103;

The problem with the 1945 publication date is that this book was originally published in Polish in Warsaw, Poland, in 1947 under the title, Zagadnienie przenoszenia myśli w świetle badań radiotechnicznych (The Problem of Thought Transference in the Light of Radio-Technical Investigations) And it is not found in any library in the US or UK, including the Library of Congress and the British National Library (formerly British Museum Library). Also, it is not recorded in the British copyright office.

It is also known that the contents of the book were published in six issues of the Polish periodical, Przegląd Telekomunikacyjny : miesięcznik poświęcony sprawom telefonji, telegrafji, sygnalizacji, radja (Telecommunication Review: monthly magazine devoted to matters of telephony, telegraphy, signaling, radio) 1946, No. 10, 11, 12 and 1947, No. 1, 2, and 3.

Dr. Moga’s efforts have resulted in the resolution of these questions. After examining the copy of the book, it has been determined that the book’s contents had actually been first published in the above periodical. Then these articles were gathered together and published as a bound book in 1947 that now resides in the National Library of Poland.

But what about the apparently incorrect 1945 date and references? It turns out that this was resolved by an asterisk next to the title of the book on the first page and a small note at the bottom of that page. The note read: “Odczyt wygloszony na posiedzeniach odczytowych SEP w Londynie 28 wrzesnia 1945 r. oraz w Warszawie 27 czerwca 1946 r.” (This lecture was presented at the SEP reading meetings in London on 28 September 1945 and in Warsaw on 27 June 1946.) So apparently Manczarski gave a lecture or lectures in London in 1945 that formed the basis of the articles later published in the Polish journal, which became a book published in Warsaw. And these events were somehow misconstrued to be a book published in London.

Newly Discovered Psychotronics Related Organizations and Periodicals, August, 2017

A number of newly discovered psychotronics related organizations and periodicals have been discovered since the last issue of the USPA Journal and Newsletter. These organizations and periodicals, some of which ceased operation many years ago, are listed below, with brief information. If you know anything about these organizations, please contact the editor. The periodicals have been added to the master list of psychotronics periodicals in the USPA Periodicals Library section of this journal. We are seeking copies of all issues of these periodicals, which we plan to digitize and make available to our members as a USPA membership benefit. So if you have any issues the periodicals listed below or any of the missing issues of the periodicals listed in the USPA Periodicals Library section of this Journal, please let the editor know by emailing him at: [email protected].

Organizations:

Italian Society of Radionics and Radiesthesia (ISRR): This organization was founded in 1995 in Rome by Alessandra Previdi, its current president, and was originally called Italian Society of Radionics. The name was later changed by adding the word, "Radiesthesia" to indicate one of the primary interests of this organization. It publshes the periodical Quaderno di Radionica three time per year. The ISRR is still very active, with one of its major projects the Radionics Without Borders Project, with many activities in countries throughout Latin America. For further information visit the ISRR website here. National Institute of Electromedical Information (NIEI): This organization was founded in 1984 in New York, New York, as a non-profit, charitable organization under section 501(c)3 of the IRS. It provides an educational forum and communication network to further the development, advancement, promotion and use of electromedical devices and therapies in all areas of healthcare. This organization is still in operation, and you can visit its website at: http://niei.org/index.html It is not known if the NIEI publishes a periodical of any kind. United States Radionics Association (USRA): This was the original name of the United States Psychotronics Association (USPA). The USRA was founded in 1975 by Jerry Gallimore, Robert Beutlich, and others interested in radionics. Two years later, however, the name was changed to United States Psychotronics Association (USPA).

Periodicals: (all added to the master list of USPA psychotronic periodicals)

Electrus Newsletter: This periodical was published by the American Institute of Archives located in Keene, Texas, in the early 1990s. It was edited by Mark Simpson, author of the book, The Rife Way III, and focused on Royal R. Rife research and bioelectromagnetics. It began with Issue #1 (August, 1990) and published at least two issues, with the second being Issue # 2 (November, 1990). However, it is not known if any other issues were ever published. According to WorldCat, it is not held by any library in the world. The USPA Library needs all issues of this periodical.

NeuroQuantology: (ISSN: 1303-5150) This is a quarterly peer-reviewed journal published in Bornova, Turkey, by Suktan Tarlaci, M.D., a Turkish physician. It is published in English and focuses physical and quantum explanations for consciousness, psychic phenomena, entanglement, non-locality, mind-matter interaction, and related subjects. It began with Vol. 1, No. 1 in 2003 and has continued to be published through the present, with Vol. 15, No. 2 being published in 2017. The USPA Library needs all issues of this periodical. Many issues are freely available to readers at: https://www.neuroquantology.com/index.php/journal/issue/archive Zeitschrift fuer Radiaesthesie und Harmoniefindung (Journal of Radiesthesia and Harmonization) (ISSN: 2191-0103) This journal is published in Munich, Germany by Herald-Verlag, and focuses on radiesthsia and related subjects. It was founded in with Vol. 1, No. 1 in 1950 by Dr. Franz Wetzel (1888-1956), and continues to be published at present. The former title from 1950-2010 was: Zeitschrift fuer Radiaesthesie (Germany) (0044-3425). The USPA Library needs all issues of this periodical.

Short News, Notes, and Queries

(If anyone would like to make a short news announcement, report something, has a question about anything related to psychotronics and related subjects, or has any information or comments about any of the following notes and queries, please write to the editor, John Reed at: [email protected])

1. Update!! Joshua Buhs Helps Solve Missing Journal Mystery Joshua Buhs, perhaps the best researcher on the old Fortean Society and its members, (see his blog here) recently found a very important clue to help resolve the mystery of the missing periodical, Journal of Scientific Controversy. This periodical was referred to on page 49 of the Vol. 1, No. 1 (Spring, 1967) issue of the INFO: The Journal of the International Fortean Organization , but no periodical by this name, or anything close to it, exists in any library in the world. However, Joshua found that it was advertised in a 1963 issue of the science fiction periodical, Analog Science Fiction & Fact (ASFF) and several other popular periodicals of the time. The advertisement in ASFF stated that the first issue of the Journal of Scientific Controversy would be published in the second quarter of 1963, and that the editor was a William Reid with the address: P.O. Box 855, Boulder, Colorado. This gives good evidence that the Journal of Scientific Controversy did indeed exist, and at least one issue was published. The most important clue, however, is the name of the editor, William Reid, and his location in Boulder, Colorado. So all we have to do now is track down Mr. Reid, or his surviving family, if he is no longer living. If any of you know, or once knew, a person by this name who lived in the Boulder area in the 1960s, please write to the editor at: [email protected]. Many of you are family tree and genealogy researchers, so even if you have never heard of this man, perhaps you would be kind enough to check your genealogy resources to help locate him or his family.

2. Update!! Daniel Taylor Finds Family of Missing Person Henry Nagorka As you may recall, several months ago I put Henry Nagorka’s name in the “Missing People” section of our regular column, “Among the Missing”. Henry was an early leader of the USPA when it was first formed in 1975 with the name United States Radionics Association, and we have been trying to find him, as well as other early USPA leaders and speakers at USPA conferences, in order to preserve their papers in

7

the USPA archives. Henry served as 1st Vice President in 1975 and 1976, and then as USPA President in 1977, when the name was changed to United States Psychotronics Association. Thanks to the excellent detective work of Daniel Taylor, who is the USPA Executive Secretary and Board Member, Henry Nagorka’s surviving family has been found. Daniel found that, unfortunately, Henry had passed away on May 21, 1986. However, he was survived by numerous family members, and we will be in touch with them.

3. Does anyone have any personal copies of the excellent periodical called “DNA Decipher Journal” ? This journal focuses on subjects of great interest to the psychotronics community, including subtle energies emanating from DNA, wave genetics, quantum biology, quantum entanglement, phases and structure of water, and many other interesting subjects. In fact, the vol. 6, no2 (June, 2016) issue of this journal included an article titled, “On the Plausible Implications of Gariaev & Montagnier's Work”. (Editor JHR:See the abstract of Montagnier’s article in the Abstracts section below.) Surprisingly, and strangely, not a single academic or public library in the world lists this periodical in their holdings, including the Library of Congress. This journal is published by Quantum Dream, Inc., In Stony Brook, NY , and has a website at: http://dnadecipher.com/ , which shows all the issues published since its first issue in 2011. The price is $13.90 for the latest issue published in Dec., 2016, and back issues have higher prices running up to $19.90 for the first issue. If any of you have personal copies of the DNA Decipher Journal, would you be willing to lend them temporarily to the USPA Library so that we can review them? If so, please write to the editor, John Reed, at: [email protected]

4. Art Tool and Die Company: Does anyone know anything about the Art Tool and Die Company that was located in Detroit, Michigan, in the 1930s and 1940s, and apparently manufactured radionics devices? It has been referred to in a number of publications on radionics, psychotronics, and related subjects, but it is not clear what devices they manufactured.

5. Mangrove College for Radionics: Does anyone know anything about the Mangrove College for Radionics, and if it ever published a periodical of any kind? Its address at one time was: 1313 N. Market St., Hercules Plaza Suite 3410, Wilmington, Delaware 19801, although this appears to be a mail box service location. It was once headed by a Dr. P. W. Meier.

8

6. Were you ever a member of the Electronic Medicine Association (EMA) or knowanyone who was? According to online sources, this organization was co-founded by Peter Moscow (US), former president of the USPA, and John Morley-Kirk (UK) and was incorporated in the United Kingdom in 2001. (UK Companynumber 04223137). From 2001 through 2010, the EMA held numerous seminars, workshops, and conferences, and may have published a newsletter or journal, although this is uncertain.

Unfortunately both Peter Moscow and John Morley-Kirk died in 2011, and records show that the organization was officially dissolved in the United Kingdom in October of 2011. A number of people have indicated that they would like to revive this organization, and we are attempting to locate all former members. So if you have any interest in this, or by chance have an old membership list, please write to the editor, John H. Reed, M.D. ([email protected]), so that I can contact the former members to see if they would be interested in resurrecting this organization, or starting a new one with a similar mission.

7. Do any of you happen to know anything about the Paraphysical Laboratory thatwas founded in the UK by Benson Herbert in 1966, or have any issues of theJournal of Paraphysics that he published for more than 20 years? Mr. Herbert’slaboratory was located at Privett Farm, Downton, Wiltshire, England, betweenSalisbury and Southhampton. His mission included an attempt to provide a workabletheory and physical explanation for paranormal phenomena, including telepathy, remote viewing, dowsing, and other extraordinary abilities and phenomena.Unfortunately, Benson Herbert died in 1991, and no one seems to know what becameof the papers and records of the laboratory, or if he even had any family, who might beable to shed light on this. So if you know anything about Benson Herbert or have anyissues of his periodical, please contact the editor at: [email protected].

8. Does anyone have video tapes of the presentations that Andrija Puharich madeat the 1982 US Psychotronics Association Conference? The title of Dr.Puharich’s first presentation was: “Chemical Compounds: Receptors of Artificial ELF”,and was sold for a period of time on the USPA website with this title and catalognumber F6.The second presentation that Dr. Puharich made at the 1982 USPA Conference was theKeynote Address at the Awards banquet. The Title of this presentation was “Kindling + 1” andhad catalog number F7. If anyone has either or both of these tapes, please contact the editor,John Reed at: [email protected].

2017 Radionics Symposium Taught By the Masters

Schedule Day 1 October 26, 2017 - 8AM to 5PM

7:15AM - 8AM Registration

8AM - 8:30AM - Dr. Ron Barone Introduction

8:30AM - 9:30AM - Dr. Ron Barone The story of miasms begins with Samuel Hahnemann himself. As his experience of homeopathy brought him to understand its usefulness not only in acute but also in chronic disease, Hahnemann found that chronic dis-eases arise from a deep inner susceptibility that he called miasm. External causes of disease, he observed, can bear fruit only in the fertile ground of a miasmatic foundation, which passes by various means from per-son to person and creates the predisposition to particular kinds of disease states. Hahnemann identified three miasms, each with its own characteristics and disease propensities. In recent developments, there are 4 primary miasms and 4 recessive. We will learn how to deal with these with radionics.

Dr Darius Dinshah developed a system of using light as a direct application to the body for many diseases. A Pdf of this book will be supplied on the notes disc. I will demonstrate how to apply light in radionics as an ap-plication to the input well as well as a basic rate sheet for broadcasting.

Dr. Ronald Barone: Body, Mind & Spirit - Ron is a consultant on personal well-being; from Blackhawk, SD. Ron brings over 50 years of experience in the health care field. He is a Chiropractic Doctor certified in Orthopedics, with training in advanced Radiology, Nutrition, and Kinesiology and with a focus on environment, organic foods, nutrition, herbs, homeopathics, exercise and correct thinking. He has been doing radionics and ener-gy medicine as his ministry since 1995. Working on people with health issues and longevity is his primary ministry. He is a skilled dowser in the natural and spiritual realm. A personal friend of Master Dowser and Shaman Raymon Grace. He is also skilled in helping the dying go through transition to the spirit world. He has considerable experience with discarnates and a wide realm of non-physical issues. 9:15AM - 10:15AM - Marty LucasThe raw energy of life can be called Chi. When there is ample Chi, the body is healthy, but not all Chi is the same. Its structure mirrors that of bio-photons. So there is some that helps the body to repair itself, there is some that supports replication and some that moves the body towards recycling. By managing the mixture of Chi in a subject we can support the repair and replication functions. Balancing Chi works at a more fundamen-tal level than even Somatids! This work peels another layer from the ‘onion’!

Marty Lucas, Every Advantage Ag, Urbandale, IA - Marty Lucas is a full-time Radionic Practitioner and teacher out of central Iowa. He is known for in-depth and far-reaching research into the fringes of radionic practice. Every living cell is like an electric battery broadcasting a pulsing rhythm, creating a field. The ability to contact these fields is called Radiesthesia. Medical Radiesthesia is a method of discovering information from energy fields around the human being, animals and plants. The Parcels System utilizes a pendulum and a Determination Board to measure these frequencies. While the applications of Medical Radiesthesia are vast, Dr. Linda will teach an effective approach to taking care of yourself and your family through this system of Radionics.

Dr. Linda Lancaster - Dr. Linda is a Board Certified Naturopathic Physician and Homeopath. Among the Missing, (and Updates): A Column about Missing People, Organizations, Periodicals, Books, Artifacts, and Collections in the Psychotronics Field by John H. Reed, M.D This is a new “column” or section of the USPA Newsletter, and will be an ongoing part of every issue, with the purpose of helping the USPA, as well as, our members and research associates locate people, organizations, periodicals, books, artifacts, devices, collections, and other items that have seemingly disappeared, or have been extremely difficult to find. Updates will be added, and each missing item will be retained in future issues until it is found or otherwise resolved, since some readers may not have seen prior issues of the USPA Newsletter or the original notice of the missing item. In addition, this will also serve as a “People Locator Service” to help find authors and researchers on psychotronics, radionics, subtle energies, energy medicine, and related subjects, who have “disappeared” or have died long ago, and whose relatives you may be trying to find in order to preserve the research papers and collection of that person. In our research and reading, we all have encountered people, organizations, periodicals, books, articles, or other things that we have tried to find, and some people have searched for years to find something, but have not yet found it, despite the vast resources of the Internet. However, with our large USPA membership, we can all help one another find what we have been searching for. Some of you may have experience in genealogical research, or private investigation, law enforcement, or even intelligence work which you could utilize to help each other, or perhaps just make suggestions on how or where to search for something. So if there is anything you have been searching for and need help to find, please write to me, John H. Reed, M.D. at: [email protected], and I will include your search help request in the next and subsequent issues of the USPA Newsletter. And if you have any information about an item that is listed in “Among the Missing”, please write to the same email address and share what you know or your suggestions. If there is something that is confidential, your confidentiality request will be honored and protected.

Missing Device: Marcel Vogel’s Omega- 1 Radionics Instrument In a 1987 meeting presentation, YouTube Video, available here, beginning about 4:20, Marcel Vogel states that he had been trying to find a way by which he could measure the subtle energies and fields in the crystals he was working with, and that he prayed to God to give him an instrument to make such measurements. Marcel says that about two months later, a man named Daniel Perkins, apparently guided by higher forces to build such an instrument, came to Marcel’s door and said, “Here is your instrument, the Omega-1. You will know how to use it,” and walked away. But where is that particular

24

Omega-1, and were any other Omega-1instruments built? It is known that other Omega models of radionics instruments were produced, especially Omega-5 instruments, but it is not known if the company that built them still exists. In addition, does anyone know who Daniel Perkins is, and where he is located? I read in another source that the delivering man’s name was Lou Perkins, but is doubtful that Marcel would have not remembered the correct name. Perhaps Lou may have been a relative of Daniel Perkins, or may have been involved in some other way. Anyone who can shed light on this mystery, please write to the editor at: [email protected].

Missing and Mysterious Stone: The “Swedish Stone” of T. Henry Moray’s “Free Energy” Device:

Has anyone done any research on what the substance called “Swedish Stone” is that T. Henry Moray used in the 1920s to extract energy from cosmic rays and produce electricity? According to Moray’s original diaries, he discovered the stone somewhere near the city of Abisco, Sweden, in 1913 when he was there doing his overseas Mormon missionary service. He brought the stone back to the US and subsequently created a device using the stone to produce electricity in much the same way that silicon is used to produce electricity when struck by light. However, the Swedish stone used in Moray’s device apparently had the particular molecular and/or crystalline structure such that it would produce electricity when struck with cosmic rays, which constantly strike the earth. And since cosmic rays are an electromagnetic wave with much higher energy than light, which is also an electromagnetic wave, Moray’s device produced a great deal more electricity than any current silicon based devices of similar size.

Since cosmic rays flood the universe, clearly such a device could provide essentially free electrical power anywhere on earth or anywhere else in the universe. Some have hypothesized that the Swedish stone was a radioactive substance, whose radioactivity was used to produce the electricity. However, others believe that the Swedish stone was not radioactive, but just happened to have the particular structure necessary to convert cosmic rays to electricity. Theoretically there are substances like silicon, only of a different structure, that will convert each of the electromagnetic wave frequencies to electricity, and perhaps Moray just accidentally discovered the substance that would do this with cosmic waves. Please contact the editor if you have any information about this “Swedish Stone” substance: [email protected]

Andrija Puharich’s Lost Manuscript and other Puharich Mysteries by Greg Mallozzi

During the late 60s and into the 70s, Puharich owned and worked out of a large house in rural Ossining, New York. A home laboratory known as Lab 9. Lab 9 produced the most mysterious and far out work that Puharich was involved in when he began to delve deeper and deeper into parapsychological, experimental research: like alleged

25

communication with extraterrestrial beings VIA trance mediumship and ELF (extremely low frequency) waves and their effect on the brain. At Lab 9, Puharich worked with a faraday cage, a large cage that blocks electrostatic and electromagnetic influences. Puharich found that when a subject was placed inside the faraday cage and a certain level of specially controlled electromagnetic waves were sent through the cage, the subjects ESP abilities were heightened significantly. He conducted what some have called inhumane, psychological experiments on human subjects. Lab 9, like The Round Table Foundation, began to attract people from all walks of life.

Shrouded in controversry, the new film on the life of Dr. Andrija Puharich that we are producing will show what Lab 9 was really like, using never before seen photos, videos and transcripts. In 1978, a mysterious attempt to burn down Lab 9 was made. The town of Ossining ruled it arson. Puharich’s publisher, Doubleday, was also broken into at this time and the manuscript he was working on was destroyed. Was someone out to get Puharich, to discredit and sabotage his work? If so, who? People who were present at Lab 9 at the time of the infamous fire will weigh in on what really happened, which to this day is unsolved.

If anyone has any knowledge about the missing manuscript or other mysteries surrounding the life of Dr. Andrija Puharich or has any video tapes, audio tapes, or correspondence of Puharich, please contact: Greg Mallozzi at: [email protected] or the editor John Reed at: [email protected]

Combo Mystery: Missing Person, Organization, and Book, All Related

Person: Dr. Floyd S. Graham, Sr. Organizations: Radionic Laboratories and Radiant Associates, Inc. founded by Floyd S. Graham, Sr. Book: The Radiant Era, by Floyd S. Graham, Sr.

This is our first “Combo Mystery” of a missing person, the organization(s) he founded, and the book that he wrote. The organization “Radionic Laboratories” was referred to in the American Society of Dowsers Quarterly Digest, Vol. 4, No. 2 (May, 1964), page 22, in a letter to the editor, by Dr. Floyd S. Graham, Jr. It indicated that Dr. Graham was the president of the “International Headquarters Unit” of “Radionic Laboratories”, located in the small town of Tumtum, Washington, which is located northwest of Spokane, WA. The letter was signed “Radiant Associates, Inc.”.

These names suggest that there may have been two different organizations, or that the “Radionic Laboratories” was part of the corporation, “Radiant Associates, Inc. However, I checked my database of incorporated organizations, which covers both profit and non-profit corporations, operating or defunct, that have been formed in the United States and worldwide since the early 1900’s, and neither name was shown as ever having existed in the State of Washington. But since the letter was written and published in 1964,

26

there is little doubt that Dr. Graham and the organization entities he mentioned did exist at that time in Tumtum, WA.

A further mystery related to Dr. Graham is the booklet he wrote titled, “The Radiant Era”, date and place of publication unknown. It is being offered for sale online, with a photo, as shown at left. It is said to be published by the Journal of Natural Living, and is 22 pages long, stapled, and sized 6.75 by 7.75 inches. However, a check of the WorldCat database, which lists the holdings of every library in the United States, Canada, and the UK, including the Library of Congress and the famous British Library (AKA British Museum Library), shows that this booklet by Dr. Graham is not located in any known library.

So if you know anything about Dr. Floyd S. Graham, Sr., the Radionic Laboratories, or Radiant Associates, Inc., in Tumtum, Washington, or anything about his booklet, The Radiant Era, please contact the editor, John H. Reed, at: [email protected]. If you happen to have a copy of the booklet in your personal collection, the USPA Library would greatly appreciate it if you would make a xerox copy of it for the library, which you can scan and email as a PDF, or send the physical copy to: USPA Library

and Archives, 4401 Roland Avenue, Unit 405, Baltimore, MD 21210.

Missing Devices:

1. The AGRAD Machine: In the 1970’s Mankind Research Unlimited, Inc.(MRU),headed by Dr. Carl Scleicher, was offering for sale a device called the AGRADMachine. It was intended to be used in the electromagnetic treatment of cropsand the control of insect populations, and sold for $390.00. MRU claimed thatAGRAD machines had been used for several years by MRU researchers toconduct experimental applications of the type described in The Secret Life ofPlants by Christopher Bird and Peter Tompkins, and Report on Radionics byEdward W. Russell. Theoretically, the AGRAD machine was intended to produceeffects through electromagnetic wavefronts that would interact with and controlinsects by disturbing the insect sensor mechanisms. A photo of the device andadditional information appeared in one of MRU’s publications which you canaccess here.

Missing Organizations:

1. American Electronic Research Association (AERA): Albert Abrams established the American Electronic Research Association in the early 1920s and it continued to operate until at least 1935, when John F. Spaunhurst was the president of AERA, according to the 1935 Edition of Who’s Who Among Association Executives. The AERA published the monthly Journal of the American Electronic Research Association from 1924 through some point in 1936, when it ceased publication, according to Harvard University records.. Only two libraries in the world are known to have issues of this periodical. There are only two issues in the Harvard University Medical School Library, and the Kirkwood School of Osteopathic Medicine has one issue. If you know anything about this organization, or happen to have any issues of its journal, please contact the USPA Journal and Newsletter editor, John Reed at: [email protected].

2. International Association for Psychotronic Research (IAPR): Does anyone know what became of the International Association for Psychotronic Research? And do any of you have copies of its meeting proceedings or newsletter, if such a newsletter were published? It was founded in 1973, even before the United States Psychotronic Association (USPA), which was founded in 1975. However, the current location or activities of the IAPR are unknown. The IAPR held numerous international conferences around the world, beginning with its first in 1974 in Prague, then Czechoslovakia. At this conference, Dr. Zdenek Rejdak was elected president for the Eastern Division of the IAPR, and Dr. Stanley Krippner was elected president for the West. The 8th International Conference on Psychotronic Research was held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 1993, as a joint conference with the United States Psychotronics Association (USPA), but it is unknown if any subsequent conferences of the IAPR were held. Proceedings of each of these conferences were published. If copies of these proceedings can be obtained, or any newsletters that it may have published, we will add them to the USPA Library and make them available to USPA members. If you have any knowledge about this organization, please write to the editor at: [email protected]

3. International Radionics Association (IRA): Does anyone know anything about the International Radionics Association (IRA), which was located in Springfield, Missouri in the late 1940s. This is known, because a book called The Truth about Radionics was published in 1947 by this organization, and although the author’s name is anonymous, it is highly probable that the author was T. Galen Hieronymus, who passed away many years ago.

I checked several newspaper databases, and references to this organization were found in the press as far back as the early 1930s, and as late as the early

28

1960s, but nothing more recent than that. If you have any knowledge about this organization, please write to the editor at: [email protected]

Missing People, and Updates: Missing USPA Related People: We are trying to track down some of the original directors and officers of the United States Psychotronics Association (USPA), when it was organized in 1975, with the word “Radionics” in the organization title. Does anyone have any information on the current whereabouts of the following people, or family members, if the person is known to have passed away, or where they passed away?? Please check Ancestry.com, social media websites, newspaper archives, and any other databases you have to help find these people.

1. Paul Sauvin, USPA 2nd Vice Pes., 1976 and 1st Vice Pres., 1977. Paul Sauvin, whose full name is Pierre Paul Sauvin, is an electrical engineer and inventor who, according to one source, worked in the aerospace industry and later with the National Institute for Rehabilitation Engineering at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, NJ. He also worked with Dr. Carl Schleicher, head of Mankind Research Unlimited, and helped develop a device called the “AGRAD Machine”. This device was designed to control crop insects, and was introduced on an experimental basis, although it is not known if it ever reached commercial production. Paul Sauvin’s mother was Edith Sauvin, who lived in White Plains, NY, and died August 25th, 1987. Edith’s only child was Pierre Paul Sauvin, who himself had 2 sons, Alan Paul Sauvin and Steven Eric Sauvin. He also had one daughter, Jane Elizabeth Sauvin. Any help in locating the children of Paul Sauvin would be greatly appreciated, and please write to [email protected]. 2. Dr. Marcel Vogel and his Research Papers: Does anyone know what became of the papers and files of Dr. Marcel Vogel, who died in 1991? Dr. Vogel did extensive research on crystals and crystal healing, pyramid power, the “Backster Effect” involving plants and their bioenergetic fields, and a number of other psychotronics related subjects. He also spoke numerous times at USPA conferences. Marcel Vogel worked at IBM for 27 years and had 32 patents. If you have any knowledge about Marcel Vogel and what became of his papers and files after he died, please write to your editor at: [email protected]. The USPA would like to make sure that all of his papers are preserved.

Missing Periodicals:

1. British Journal of Radiesthesia and Radionics: Does anyone have any issues of The British Journal of Radiesthesia and Radionics. It was published in London, England, by the British Radiesthesia Association, 1953-1963. The original title was British Journal of Radiesthesia, published from 1953-1957. No libraries in the United States, public or university, have this journal in their collection., and only five libraries elsewhere in the world are known to have any issues at all: The British Museum Library (AKA The British Library), Oxford, Cambridge, the National Library of Scotland, and Trinity College Library, in Dublin Ireland. If you have any issues of this periodical, will you please let me know? And for our members and associates in The UK and Irelad, if you can access these periodicals at any of the above libraries, you would do a huge service for all of us if you would Xerox what issues are available and send them to me. A generous donor has offered to pay whatever expenses are involved for doing this service. We will add them to the USPA Library and make them available to researchers. Please contact the editor at: [email protected]

Missing Books: Rhea White and Larissa Vilenskaya wrote a book titled Parapsychology in the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, and China: A Compendium of Information. It was supposedly published by Scarecrow Press of Metuchen, NJ, a well know publisher of reference books. This book was listed as reference work #680 on page 213 of Rhea White’s book, Parapsychology: New Sources of Information, 1973-1989 , also published by Scarecrow Press. I called the publisher, and they said they have never published this book, and know nothing about it. As you can see from entry #680, Rhea White noted that this book was “in press”, so it may have been in a preparation stage, but the manuscript may never have been sent to Scarecrow Press. Again, I have searched the WorldCat, which shows books and monograph holdings of virtually every public and university library in the United States and Canada, and many of the large libraries in the UK and elsewhere in the world. But this book title does not exist in the WorldCat database, which indicates that this book is not held in any library, even special collections, which are also included in WorldCat. Unfortunately, I was unable to ask either of the authors about this, since both have passed away. Rhea White was a well known parapsychology researcher, so some of you may have known her or heard her speak of the missing book manuscript that she was working on. Larissa Vilenskaya was from Russia, but lived and worked in the San Francisco area, and she was a prolific researcher on Russian and Eastern European psychotronics research. Please write to your editor at: [email protected] if you have any information about this at all.

THE STRUCTURE OF WATER and

The Holographic Brain by

Part 8: The Holographic Brain A Holographic Concept of Reality - I had just graduated from Washington State University (1966), and was working in Newark, Delaware for E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (DuPont). At some point (1967), my work took me into his Experimental Research Facility (Philadelphia). As I was walking down the hall, I chanced to look inside one of the labs and saw a working 3-D Television! This is when I first met Dr. Dennis Gabor, a Hungarian Physicist, most notable for inventing holography, and for which he later received the 1971 Nobel Prize in Physics. This was to have an enormous impact on my later work (1973), when I presented (in Prague) my paper titled A Holographic Concept of Reality.

A Holographic Concept of Reality Abstract: The organization of any biological system is established by a

complex electrodynamic field which is, in part, determined by its atomic physiochemical components and which, in part, determines the behavior and orientation of these components. The holographic model of reality emerging from this principle may provide a scientific explanation of psychoenergetic phenomena.

In this paper we suggested that a hologram is n dimensions of information in n-1 dimensions. In other words, it is the way information folds into, or out of, itself. Think of this in terms of resolution, or detail, of information. Whereas quantum processes are measured in space and time, a holographic process is measured in the resolution of information. In 1973, what has come to be later known as the Pribram-Bohm Holographic Model was non-existent. But, we were able to put together the work of Northrup and Burr on the electromagnetic nature of the human being, using Gabor's work on holograms, and then came up with a new model for the universe. At that time (in history), Pribram had only postulated 2-dimensional interference patterns, physical holograms, as underlying all thinking. The holographic component, for him, represented the associative mechanisms and contributed to memory retrieval and storage and problem-solving. Everything still centered on quantum mechanics and a Quantum Universe model.

Figure 3: Quantum Universe Embryonic Holography - In a second paper (1973), titled Embryonic Holography, An Application of the Holographic Concept of Reality, we then suggest that the DNA is a 3-dimesional hologram of 4-space = normal 3-space, plus time (who you were, are, and will be). This is the foundation concept of the Biohologram,

33

Figure 4: Holographic Universe

We are reaching the end of the paradigm in which we can afford to ignore the electromagnetic properties of the macro-system and deal with chemistry as if it were taking place in a neutral system. This new field can be termed "bio-electronic": a term based on biophysics.

Conventional biophysics seems to be centered around very minute detail of things, such as ion exchanges across cell membranes, etc. And very, very little contact is made with the idea that the electromagnetic systems may regulate the whole organism, the whole multi-cellular organism, and not merely function at the level of cells.

This was the first paper to address the quantum biological properties of human beings--the first illustrations of the sources of quantum mind-body. Dropping a level of observation below

quantum biochemistry and conventional biophysics, we proposed that a biohologram determines the development of the human embryo; that we are a quantum body-mind with consciousness, informing the whole process through the resolution of information.

Figure 5: The Holographic Brain We postulated DNA as the possible holographic projector of the biohologram, patterning the three-dimensional electromagnetic standing and moving wave front that constitutes our psychophysical being. While it was originally presented at Sonoma in 1973, this work was reprinted much later in the journal Psychedelic Monographs and Essays, Vol. 6, 1993. I had apparently drawn the attention of the government in a less favorable way. "Spooks" (Feds and Army Intel) came to my bookstore one week later, arrested me, searched through my files, and seized all my work on Embryonic Holography. For whatever reasons they never disclosed why this specific paper was now classified Top Secret, but can only conjecture. Perhaps it had to do with implications of the theory such as physical regeneration of tissue, or the liquid crystal properties of body fluids. Or perhaps it had to do with my research in Allan Frey's work in the 0.3-3.0 GHz regions, a microwave input which allows the brain to directly receive voice transmissions. This discovery has recently resurfaced as Synthetic Telepathy. We were able to reconstitute the bulk of the Embryonic Holography paper from memory, but laid low with our findings for many years after this traumatic experience.

Interestingly, I have not yet seen a commercial 3-D television,

which did exist in 1967.

“Sound will be the medicine of the future”. Edgar Cayce

Several ancient cultures used theseemingly magical power of sound to heal, but sound therapy had almost disappeared in the West until 1927 when Professor R. Wood and his assistant, Loomis, discovered ultra-sound—high frequency sound—and its medical properties.1 With this discovery, research burgeoned and it is now established fact that ultra-sound has powerful medical proper-ties including its use in breaking up kidney stones and even shrinking tumours. 2,3,4,5 In hospitals and sports injury clinics, in all parts of the world, therapeutic ultrasound is used to support or accelerate the healing of soft tissues and broken bones. In the 1980s, infrasound—very low frequency sound—and audible sound were also discovered to have healing properties and in recent years several commercial organiza-tions have developed audible sound devices to support a wide range of physical ailments.6, 7, 8 The companies have documented many cases in which their sonic therapies benefited individuals. Audible sound is

intrinsically safe and cannot be “overdosed,” while ultrasound, if not properly applied, can cause severe internal burning.

The Aboriginal people of Australia are reported to have used their “yidaki” (modern name, didgeridoo) as a healing tool for thousands of years and one tradition holds that its primordial sound created the world and every-thing in it. Stories passed downthrough many generations of their culture tell of healing broken bones, muscle tears and many kinds of illnesses using their enigmatic mu-sical instrument. To our knowledge no medical studies have been con-ducted in which the yidaki’s healing power has been tested, although its acoustic output is in alignment

with some modern audible sound therapy devices so it is not surpris-ing that it has healing properties. Studies of the benefits of playing the yidaki instrument have been con-ducted and a paper in the Journal of Rural Health concluded that yidaki playing alleviated the symptomsof asthma in school children.9 Another study, reported in the British Medi-cal Journal, concluded that it helped sleep apnea.10

The ancient Greek philosopher and mathematician, Pythagoras of Samos, was reported to have used therapeutic sound by using music to treat physi-cal as well as emotional maladies. One of his biographers, Iamblichus, writes, “Pythagoras was of the opin-ion that music contributed greatly to health, if used in an appro-

priate manner …[by using] music in the place of medicine” 11.

Today, music therapy is an established clinical discipline widely used to assist people toovercome physical, emo-tional, mental, social and spiritual challenges.12 There is some evidence that the ancient Egyp-tians used sound

44

as medicine and a tradition exists in which Pythagoras is thought to have travelled in Egypt, suggesting that he may have gained his knowledge of this subject from their priests.13

Before discussing the mechanisms that underpin sound therapies let us take a brief look at the organizing power of sound.

Sound: primordial organizer of the universe

Many spiritual traditions speak of sound as the forma-tive force of creation. The prophetic opening words of St. John’s Gospel are a good example:

“In the beginning was the Word, [sound] and the word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Another example is that of the Vedic Brahmanism tradi-tion of northern India (circa 1500 BCE) in which the theme is strikingly similar to St. John’s Gospel,

“In the beginning was Brahman, with whom was Vak [the word] and the word is Brahman…by that word…he cre-ated all things whatsoever.”

A final example, of many, is that of the inscription on the Shabako stone in the British Museum, considered by Egyptologists to be one the most important hieroglyphic texts and second only to the Rosetta Stone. The Shabako Stone text tells of the god Ptah, the cosmic architect who created the entire Cosmos simply by uttering words. Predating the Old and New Testament by hundreds (and possibly thousands) of years, lines 56-57 of the ancient Shabako Stone text state:

“Lo, every word of god came into being through the thoughts of the mind and the command by the tongue.”

Shakabo Stone (British Musuem)

The prophetic nature of such spiritual traditions has come to light due to recent studies pointing to sound (rather than gravity) as the prime organizing force of all matter in the early Universe. Sound cannot travel in the vacuum of space but sound can travel wherever matter is dense enough to allow atomic particles to collide; scientific theory suggests that the early Universe was filled with high density particles during the first 380,000 years of creation.14 It is this process of collisions between atomic particles that provides a clear definition of sound:

Sound is the transfer of vibrational information at the moment of collision between any two atoms or molecules.

Sound may also have been a prime mover in the creation of life. It is generally held that life began in the vicinity of hydrothermal vents on the ocean floor, places where (even today) hot, mineral-rich gases bubble up from earth’s core into the seawater, making contact with molten lava. Yet, the structuring and organizing force that triggered life has always eluded theorists. Could it be that sound, one of the most potent organizing forces in the Universe, was in-volved? Although invisible, sound has holographic prop-erties and has the power to structure matter at the atomic scale. In water sound acts to form “sonic scaffolding” that causes molecules to coalesce in an orderly manner. This dynamic, sonic mechanism may have sparked life.

The shape of sound and life

The CymaScope is the world’s first scientific instru-ment that allows us to study the visual geometry created when sound encounters a membrane or fluid medium. (“Cyma” derives from the Greek, “kyma,” meaning wave). The device creates sound images called “CymaGlyphs” that are the imprint of sound on the surface and sub surface of pure water. Pure sinusoidal sounds contain many mathematical ratios, perhaps the most important of which is “phi” that is often referred to as the “Golden Mean” and is the ratio of 1 to approximately 1.618. Phi is prevalent in all living things, suggesting a link between sound and life, and Gyorgy Doczi’s wonderful book, The Power

45

of Limits, illustrates this point with great flair. He analyzes sea creatures, shells, butterflies, flowers and many other life forms to validate the phi ratio as one of the defining character-istics of life.

Geometric sonic structures, typically containing the phi ratio, are com-monly observed with the CymaScope instrument and provide us with a hypothetical model for the way in which the earliest life forms may have been shaped in the ancient seas. The surfaces of microscopic bubbles, cre-ated near hydrothermal vents, could have been host to geometric patterns of sonic vibration, providing nodal points in which the building blocks of life found safe haven. Simple crea-tures that exhibit clearly defined ge-ometry, such as diatoms and starfish, offer support that sound may have been involved in the triggering and/or structuring of life.

A virus with a geometric morphology and a lineage stretching back 3.5 bil-lion years also provides some support for this hypothesis and was discov-ered in the hot springs of YellowstoneNational Park, leading to the intrigu-ing proposal that the earliest life forms may have been viruses 15.

One of the greatest mysteries in un-derstanding how life came into being concerns the helical nature of RNA and DNA. One possibility stems from CymaScope research in which vor-tices can be created in water by pure low frequency sounds in both the macro and micro realms, providing

a form of scaffolding to which the molecules of life could have adhered. The dynamics necessary to create mi-cro vortices in the ancient seas may have derived from the low frequency sounds generated by hydrothermal vents. The pure form of sound needed to power this mechanism may have derived from a certain class of hy-drothermal vent bubbles. Pure tones have been detected emitting from hydrothermal vents and the largest vent bubbles are thought to act like Helmholtz Resonators, effectively tuning out all frequencies except those that resonate with the gas cavity formed by the bubble16. It is intrigu-ing to think that naturally occurring micro spiral vortices in water, created by pure sounds, may be part of the mechanism contributing to the origin of life. Although further research is needed to clarify this hypothesis it is clear that sound and life are inextri-

Therapeutic sound principles

If sound was the trigger for life it should not be surprising that sound has the ability to support and heal life. Put simply, sound has the almost magical power to restore order to and heal life. Put simply, sound has the almost magical power to restore order to organisms that are malfunc-tioning–magical in the sense that we don’t yet fully understand the mecha-nisms at work. For example, studies have shown that audible sound in the form of music has significant heal-ing properties in both humans and

46

animals, inferring that music therapy is potentially heal-ing on two levels: first as a result of the stimulation of the brain’s pleasure centres, leading to hormonal secretions and “feel good” effects, and second, due to the physical effects of sound at the cellular level 17, 18, 19.

Regarding the physical effects of sound at the cellular level, two main categories exist: Destructive and Construc-tive sound therapies. Lithotripsy is a well-known medical technique that employs high intensity ultrasound to shat-ter kidney stones and gallstones and employs a destructive sonic principle 20. However, therapeutic ultrasound can employ either a constructive or a destructive sonic effect, depending on how it is deployed. For example, ultrasound can accelerate cellular division in soft tissues and acceler-ate bone growth (a constructive principle) while high in-tensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) can be used to shrink tumours (a destructive principle)21. Therapeutic audible sound generally employs a constructive sonic principle, but an intriguing possibility exists to use audible sound destructively in order to shrink tumours 22, 23.

Dr. James Gimzewski, of UCLA California, has taken a novel approach to studying cellular function. He uses an atomic force microscope to ‘listen’ to the sounds emit-ted by cells. The focus of this new science, which he has named “sonocytology,” is mapping the pulsations of a cell’s outer membrane, thus identifying the “song” of the cell. Gimzewski’s work suggests that every cell in our bodies has a unique sonic signature and “sings” to its neighbours. Sonocytology could be developed into a potentially pow-erful diagnostic tool for identifying the sounds of healthy cells versus those of injurious ones. It also offers an even more exciting prospect: the ability to play the destructive sounds of rogue cells back to themselves greatly amplified so that, by the simple law of resonance, the hostile cells implode and are destroyed. In this scenario there would be no collateral damage to surrounding cells since healthy cells would not be resonant* with these frequencies.

The mechanism(s) by which constructive sound therapies trigger the body’s healing response are unknown but one

Professor James Gimsewski and his Sonocytology research team, UCLA Berkley

possibility concerns the fact that when a system of cells is traumatized, for example due to physical trauma or by invasion of a pathogen, they go into a form of hibernation known as the G0 phase, or quiescent phase, in which they are effectively asleep and not replicating.24 To rejoin the normal cell cycle leading to normal replication and heal-ing, the cell requires either good nutrition or rest or both, but, hypothetically, exposing quiescent cells to audible sounds of the correct frequencies acts as a catalyst that stimulates the cell to move to the G1 phase in which cells prepare for replication.25 We monitored a healthy yeast cell’s “song” spectrographically and compared it with the spectrograph of the same cell after it had been trauma-tized by acid. (The sound files were from Dr. Gimzewski’s lab). It was clear that the traumatized cell emitted far higher frequencies, as if the cell was screaming. Applying sounds to a system of traumatized cells may stimulate the cell’s Integral Membrane Proteins and imprint a cymatic pattern upon the cell that provides a form of energetic sonic nourishment, causing its frequencies to return to normal.

Modern audible sound therapy devices are non-invasive and are essentially like playing music to the body; in fact many traditional sound therapy music-based instruments, such as the piano, harp, the gong, Tibetan bowls and crystal bowls emit rich soundscapes that provide sonic nourishment for cells. The piano and harp, in particular, are important because all of their sounds are harmoni-cally related to each other; each higher frequency created by a piano or harp string is mathematically related to the string’s fundamental frequency, regardless of the choice of concert pitch. (The fundamental frequency of a given piano or harp string is called its “1st harmonic”, and the same string’s 2nd harmonic is twice the fundamental frequency, and the string’s 3rd harmonic is three times the fundamental frequency and so on.) This natural order means that when cells receive harp or piano sounds they are better able to absorb the sonic energy. In the case of

gongs and Tibetan bowls, although their harmonic output is jumbled they can provide sonic nourish-ment for cells provided they are played at low or moderate levels; if played loudly such sounds would be a stressor for cells. However, audible sound therapy devices employ care-fully targeted frequencies, unlike the broad range of frequencies provided by music and music-based instru-ments. This targeted approach has been found to be highly efficacious and Cyma Technologies Inc, for example, is pioneering a new era in therapeutic sound therapy devices in which specific sets of frequen-cies are employed, depending on the nature of the malady to be supported. We can envisage a future in which diagnostic and therapeutic beds, resembling a scene from a Star Trek sick bay, may become commonplace

The role of intention in sound healing

Sound therapy is a highly effective tool for the support of a wide range of health challenges and fortunately an individual does not need to believe in it for it to work. However, there is another factor that can greatly amplify the effectiveness of healing: creative intention. While mainstream medicine does not yet recognize the importance of a patient’s intention, in contrast, most vibrational en-ergy practitioners, including sound therapy practitioners, use a holistic approach that addresses both mind

and body. When the power of inten-tion is held, the chances of a success-ful outcome are intensified. Inten-tion consists of using your focused thoughts, feelings and visualizations to attract whatever is desired, such as enhancing one’s health.

American sound therapist, Jonathan Goldman, created this simple for-mula:

Sound + Intention = Healing

The power of intention involves consciously drawing on the universal field of energy. Utilizing this potent universal force along with healing sounds has been found to dramati-cally accelerate the healing process. Many people fall into the trap of fear, or negative intention, particularly inregard to health issues. It is all too easy to fixate upon the possible consequences of a health challenge rather than on the positive expecta-tion of enjoying a healthy, vital life. The Universe, it seems, is neutral and will return in kind whatever we focus upon. Whether we are aware of it or not, we use the power of intention either positively or negatively every moment of every day. Our thoughts, feelings and imaginings are the templates for the results and experi-ences of our lives. In this context, like attracts like.

When using creative intention, there is the sense of being deeply inspired. (The word inspiration means in-spirit.) We are motivated to respond to a deeper calling with a firm belief, an absolute knowing, that our desire has already been fulfilled. When we merge the mind’s energizing force with the universal field of energy for the purpose of healing and creation, our health and the quality of our lives can be transformed. One may ask how it is possible to have absolute certainty about a desired outcome before there is any apparent proof. People tend to believe things only when they see them. However, the art of creative intention calls for a new way of thinking: when you believe it, you will see it.

48

It is highly beneficial to the creative process when you act as if you already have what you want. See, feel, and think as if your body is currently vital and whole. When you act as if your desired outcome has already happened, the subconsciousmind cannot differentiate between what is factual and what is imagined and believes your intention is actual reality. The mind holds immense healing and creative powers and will continue to work on your behalf as long as you maintain your conscious focus of intention. Perhaps the most important element in “acting as if ” is to feel the experience of having already manifested your desire.

Some people have used these and similar tools of inten-tion but have not experienced the successful outcome for which they had hoped. Generally it is not because they have applied it incorrectly or missed an important ele-ment in the process. Their lack of success usually stems from unresolved issues and detrimental beliefs that are harbored as internal fears in the subconscious mind; is-sues so old and ingrained that the person may not even be aware of them. Buried fear-based issues and limiting beliefs tend to set up an internal conflict. The conscious mind may want to create a desired outcome, but the over-powering, conflicting influence of unresolved issues and beliefs block success. Nothing can become a part of your reality unless your feelings and your conscious mind are in alignment with the more powerful subconscious mind. The magnificent power of intention fully engages when all systems are in alliance, when the thinking-feeling self aligns with the underlying belief system. Intention powered by the therapeutic energy of sound is a key to improved health and other improvements in one’s life.

Sound healing case studies

Cyma Technologies Inc. has underwritten a number of documented case studies to clinically validate their thera-peutic sound device. Their therapeutic technique is called “cymatherapy.” Four brief Cyma Technologies examples are given below, along with links to case studies by the Medsonix company and a reference to the KKT, a son-ic modality supporting spinal issues. Only by undertaking and documenting case studies will audible sound therapy become accepted as a mainstream modality, leading to their use in hospitals and veterinary centres worldwide.

Racehorse tendon injury

A thoroughbred racehorse had sustained a major tendon lesion during a race and in such cases horses are usually put down or, at best, relegated to pasture. A return to rac-ing after a severe injury is extremely rare. Throughout this study the horse was under the care of a veterinarian and regular sono-gram imaging was used to document the progress of the recovery. The images clearly showed the return to normal homogeneous tendon cell integrity. The tendon of the horse not only healed completely using Cymatherapy, but there were no traces of scar tissue whatso-ever. The horse returned to racing. Clearly, while the above study refers to a horse, muscle and

tendon injuries in humans are just as readily supported with sound therapy devices.

Knee injury

A 56-year-old woman was involved in a car accident that left both knees debilitated. She needed the assistance of a walker or cane to move around and her condition was worsening. She was unable to sleep more than an hour or two at a time because of severe pain. Her doctor informed her there was nothing more he could do when he found that her knee joints were worn down to bone-on-bone. He recommended that she resign herself to buy-ing a power wheelchair and expect to use it the rest of her days. This was harsh news for a woman who had led an active, athletic life. As a last resort, she had ten therapeutic sound sessions using Cymatherapy. Her life has turned around as a result. Today, she can walk–even run. She says, “I can climb flights of steps, dance, go bowling, gar-den, and play golf, besides doing all of the things I used to do prior to the accident.” She continues, “I have been given the extraordinary gift of having my life back, and the way I want to live it.”

49

Shingles

A woman had a case of shingles on her upper chest and back. She could hardly stand up as a result of the severity of the pain. The only help her doctor could offer was to prescribe a drug to prevent a recurrence. It took the shingles about three months to heal but two years later the shin-gles reappeared in exactly the same areas. After the second Cymatherapy treatment she reported that the areas tingled and then began to disappear. After using Cymatherapy for four more days the shingles had complete-ly disappeared and have not recurred.

Dental abscess

A client who had a tooth extraction appointment with her dentist decided to try cymatherapy as a last resort. She was suffering from a very painful abscessed tooth and had been told that the root had disengaged from the jawbone. She was taking 15 ibupro-fen tablets a day for the excruciating pain. The tooth immediately began to feel better after a few days of sound therapy and she was able to cut back on the painkillers. After half a dozen Cymatherapy sessions she was totally pain-free and she retained her tooth. Her dentist was amazed.

*Resonance in the context of soundtherapy can be described as the frequency of vibration that is most natural to a specific, cell or organ. This innate frequency is sometimes referred to as the prime resonance of the cell or organ. The resonance principle does not necessarily require the living system to emit a sound.

Pitkanen, Matti. Can Quantum Biology Really Do without New Physics? DNA Decipher Journal. Vol. 6, No. 3 (2016)

Abstract

Quantum biology is now taken rather seriously. Photosynthesis and avian navigation are two key applications of quantum biology. The basic problem in both cases is posed by the fact that the magnetic interaction energy in Earth's magnetic field is roughly million times smaller than thermal energy. The so called radical-pair mechanism (RPM) was proposed already in the 60's as a possible solution to the problem posed by anomalously large effect in EPR and NMR experiments.

According to RPM, a radical pair is accompanied by electron pair, which is in a superposition of spin triplet and singlet states and behaves as quantum coherent system for a time sufficiently long to induce chemical effects. The hyperfine interaction of the members of the electron pair with the nuclei of radicals would amplify the effect. The neutralization of radical pair puts an end to the coherence interaction period. The proposal is that RPM gives rise to chemical compass making possible avian navigation.

There is however a problem. RPM has been observed in laboratory only for magnetic fields in the range 1 mT-10 T. Earth's magnetic field is only 2 per cent of the lower bound so that it is quite possible that RPM is not at work. This opens up the door for new quantum physics proposed by TGD based model of quantum biology. In this approach magnetic body acts as as intentional agent using biological body as a sensory receptor and motor instrument. Macroscopic quantum coherence is made possible by dark matter realized as a hierarchy of heff = n x h phases. In this article RMP is summarized and compared with the TGD based vision. Also the possible connection between avian navigation and circadian clock suggested by the fact that both involve photoreceptor known as cryptocrome and a possible connection with gravitaxis are considered in TGD framework.

Sannino A., Zeni O., Romeo S., Massa R., Scarfi M.R. “Adverse and Beneficial Effects in Chinese Hamster Lung Fibroblast Cells Following Radiofrequency Exposure” Bioelectromagnetics. 2017. 38:245–254;

Abstract:

In this study, the effect of radiofrequency (RF) exposure to 1950 MHz, Universal Mobile Telecommunication System signal, was investigated in Chinese hamster lung fibroblast cell line (V79). Genotoxic and cytotoxic effects of 20-h exposure at specific absorption rate (SAR) values from 0.15 W/kg to 1.25 W/kg were measured by means of cytokinesis-block micronucleus (MN) assay. Exposure was carried out blinded under strictly controlled conditions of dosimetry and temperature.

The effect of RF exposure alone at four SAR values was tested, that is, 0.15, 0.3, 0.6, and 1.25 W/kg. A statistically significant increase in MN frequency was found in cultures exposed to 0.15 and 0.3 W/kg (P < 0.05) compared to sham-exposed ones, in the absence of cytotoxicity. SAR values of 0.6 and 1.25 W/kg did not exert any effect. Moreover, to evaluate the ability of RF to exert protective effects with respect to a chemical mutagen, cell cultures were also pre-exposed for 20 h at 0.3 or 1.25 W/kg, and then treated with 500 ng/ml of mitomycin-C (MMC).

A significant reduction in the frequency of MN was detected in cultures pre-exposed to 1.25 W/kg compared to cultures treated with MMC alone (P < 0.05), indicating induction of adaptive response. Such a decrease was not induced by pre-exposure at 0.3 W/kg SAR. Taken together, our results indicated that V79 is a sensitive cell model to evidence either adverse or beneficial effects of RF exposure, depending on experimental conditions applied. Halgamuge M.N. “Review: Weak Radiofrequency Radiation Exposure from Mobile Phone Radiation on Plants.” Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine. Vol. 36, No. 2 (2017), pp. 213-235;

Abstract

Aim: The aim of this article was to explore the hypothesis that non-thermal, weak, radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF) have an effect on living plants. Subject and methods: In this study, we performed an analysis of the data extracted from the 45 peer-reviewed scientific publications (1996–2016) describing 169 experimental observations to detect the physiological and morphological changes in plants due to the non-thermal RF-EMF effects from mobile phone radiation. Twenty-nine different species of plants were considered in this work. Results: Our analysis demonstrates that the data from a substantial amount of the studies on RF-EMFs from mobile phones show physiological and/or morphological effects (89.9%, p < 0.001). Additionally, our analysis of the results from these reported studies demonstrates that the maize, roselle, pea, fenugreek, duckweeds, tomato, onions and mungbean plants seem to be very sensitive to RF-EMFs. Our findings also suggest that plants seem to be more

52

responsive to certain frequencies, especially the frequencies between (i) 800 and 1500 MHz (p < 0.0001), (ii) 1500 and 2400 MHz (p < 0.0001) and (iii) 3500 and 8000 MHz (p = 0.0161). Conclusion: The available literature on the effect of RF-EMFs on plants to date observed the significant trend of radiofrequency radiation influence on plants. Hence, this study provides new evidence supporting our hypothesis. Nonetheless, this endorses the need for more experiments to observe the effects of RF-EMFs, especially for the longer exposure durations, using the whole organisms. The above observation agrees with our earlier study, in that it supported that it is not a well-grounded method to characterize biological effects without considering the exposure duration. Nevertheless, none of these findings can be directly associated with human; however, on the other hand, this cannot be excluded, as it can impact the human welfare and health, either directly or indirectly, due to their complexity and varied effects (calcium metabolism, stress proteins, etc.). This study should be useful as a reference for researchers conducting epidemiological studies and the long-term experiments, using whole organisms, to observe the effects of RF-EMFs. © 2017 Taylor & Francis.

USPA Periodicals Library Update

In order to do good psychotronics research of any kind, whether it involves radionics, radiesthesia, psionic medicine, dowsing, subtle energies, biophotons, or any other subject covered by psychotronics, one needs access to as much of the periodical literature as possible on these subjects.

To address this issue, the United States Psychotronics Association has resolved to identify and acquire every psychotronics related periodical that has ever been published anywhere in the world, and to retain copies in the USPA Library.

As a first step, we have developed the following list of periodicals that focused on or frequently had articles on psychotronics related subjects. But this is only a preliminary list, and we know that there are probably more psychotronics periodicals that have been published, but that we do not yet know about.

So please look over the following list and check your own personal physical libraries and your computers to see if you have any issues of the periodicals on this list. Even if you just have one issue, please let us know, because that may be the one we need to complete all the issues of a particular periodical. Please write to me (John) at: [email protected], since I am the USPA librarian and archivist coordinating this effort, and tell me what periodicals you have.

As a whole, the members of USPA have a huge “library” of periodicals, but it just happens to be “distributed” among its members at this point in time. However, we can work together, and if you would be willing to loan, donate, xerox, or as a last resort, sell copies of your periodicals for the USPA Library, then we will be able to build a large centralized library of all psychotronics periodicals. And all USPA members will then be able to use these periodicals in their research or for their reading enjoyment.

Journal of Electronic Medicine (Kirksville, Missouri): This was a periodical that was published by the Kirksville, Missouri, McManis Branch of Albert Abrams’ College of Electronic Medicine, which was headquartered in San Francisco, California. This very rare journal focused on Albert Abrams’ radionic methods of diagnosis and treatment, as well, as other energy and electronic methods of medical treatment. It began with Vol. 1, No. 1, probably in January, 1923, because it is known for certain that Vol. 1, No. 5 was dated May, 1923. This periodical ceased publication later in 1923, when the McManis Branch was closed, and it is not known whether there were any other issues published after issue No. 5. This journal is not listed in Worldcat as being held by any library in the world, but a single issue was recently discovered by John Reed and Daniel Taylor in the archives of the Museum of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri. The USPA Library has issue Vol. 1, No. 5, but needs issues Vol. 1 No. 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as, any issues of this periodical that may have been published after No. 5 in 1923.

USPA Local Groups and Affiliates Update

As mentioned in the May, 2016, USPA Newsletter, one of our goals is to reactivate all of the former 24 USPA Chapters that once existed across the US and Mexico. In addition, we plan to establish new local groups of people interested psychotronics and related subjects in other major cities in the US and other countries as well. All such local groups and affiliates will be independent, but will work together with the USPA in a mutually beneficial relationship to achieve our goals of advancing research and applications in psychotronics, radionics, subtle energy, and related fields.

So I would like to invite all of former USPA Chapters leaders and members to contact me (John Reed) at: [email protected] and let me know if you would like to help reactivate your local chapter. In addition, if you are a leader or member of a psychotronics or related organization which was never a chapter of USPA, and we would welcome you as a USPA affiliated organization as well.

We will be establishing a USPA affiliated groups as traditional organizations and also via the Meetup.com online group platform. This will enable current and former members to more easily have local get-togethers, meetings, and other activities, and those activities, times, and other details can be posted online. So please let me know if you would like to be the leader of a group in your area.

If you do decide to use Meetup.com to establish your local group, you could do it quickly and easily by going to www.meetup.com , and clicking on the big red word “Start” in the upper left, and then just following the step-by-step procedures. You can give your local group any name you want, but it should probably have a name that relates to psychotronics in some way. And if you need any help, please let me know, and I will help you in any way I can. Perhaps the most important thing is enthusiasm and determination, so write to me, even if you don’t know any other USPA members in your area, and I will help you set up a local group: [email protected]

WHAT IS PSYCHOTRONICS?

The United States Psychotronics Association defines psychotronics as the science of mind-body-environment relationships, an interdisciplinary science concerned with the interactions of matter, energy, and consciousness. Psychotronics involves the study, research, and applications of the physics and technology of the mind, brain, spirit, consciousness, and the underlying forces of life and nature – hence the term “psychotronics”.

We believe that a true understanding of the universe must include the spiritual, as well as, the technical, and provide an opportunity for amateur researchers to present their findings along with the professionals. We stress research, with documentation of results, and practical applications, rather than personal experience and unsupported hypotheses.

Some Prominent People in the history of psychotronics research and application: Albert Abrams, Thomas Bearden, Robert C. Beck, Robert O. Becker, Jacques Benveniste, David Bohm, Harold Saxon Burr, George W. Crile, Ruth Drown, T. Galen Hieronymus, Vlail P. Kaznacheyev, Georges Lakhovsky, Wilhelm Reich, Royal R. Rife, Rupert Sheldrake, Nikola Tesla, Marcel Vogel, and others.

Some of the forces, fields, waves, and energies studied and researched in psychotronics include: bioelectromagnetism, biophotons, biopotentials, electromagnetic wave pollution and harmful effects; coherent emanations of DNA, emanations of matter, “free energy”, morphogenetic fields, non-hertzian waves, orgone energy, pyramid energy and power, qi (chi), quantum fields, scalar waves, subtle energies, ultra-weak radiation of living matter, zero-point energy, and others.

Some of the phenomena believed to be produced or involved with the above fields and energies: action-at-a-distance, the aura of the body and other living things, bioinformation, bioluminescence, chakras, consciousness, distant intercellular interactions, meridians of the body, mind-body interactions, non-locality, the placebo effect, quantum consciousness, spontaneous remission of cancer and other diseases, water memory, water structure, and others.

Related fields of study and research covering the above forces, energies, and phenomena of psychotronics: bioelectromagnetics, bioenergetics, biophotonics, biophysics, psionics, psychoenergetics, psychoneuroimmunology, quantum biology, radionics, scalar electromagnetics, and others.

Some practices, techniques, and applications related to psychotronics include: acupuncture, biogeometry, brain entrainment, clairvoyance, dowsing, energy healing and medicine, extrasensory perception, feng shui, homeopathy, kirlian photography, magnetic therapy, pendulum use and methods, prayer effects, psionic medicine, psychic healing, psychometry, qigong, radiesthesia, radionics, remote viewing, shamanism, sound and sonic healing, telekinesis, telepathy, and others.

USPA Catalog of Conference Lectures, 1978-1994 Now Available

A compilation of nearly 300 lectures given at the first 17 years of the United States Psychotronics Association (USPA) conferences, from 1978 through 1994 is now available in a 30 page catalog (click here).

There are talks by some of the most well known scientists of our age, including Andrija Puharich, Thomas Bearden, Marcel Vogel, Lynn Surgalla, Robert Beck, T. Galen Hieronymus, J.G. Gallimore, Elizabeth Rauscher, Christopher Bird, and many, many more.

There are also lectures specifically about radionics from some of the top practitioners: Robert Beutlich, Lutie Larsen, Jerry Fridenstine, Frances Farrelly, and others.

If you have an interest in the paranormal, the life of plants or zero-point energy, there are speakers here who are experts in the fields. How about dark-field microscopy, scalars, magnetic fields, or the Philadelphia Experiment? Yes, they are in here in this catalog too. Homeopathy, color-healing, use of crystals, structuring water, water memory, and Tesla's work are some of the other topics covered in this catalog.

As of this date, (April 15, 2017) they are available only by direct contact with USPA, but soon, they will be available online. The USPA home page is at http://www.psychotronics.org and we will have a linked site where purchase will lead to immediate download of the MP3, and payment can be made through Pay Pal.

Please note that in the Catalog (click here), most of the lectures are standard MP3s, are 30-45 minutes long, and priced at a very reasonable $5.00 each. These have no marking in the right-hand column of the catalog listing. Other MP3s are one hour or slightly longer, and are marked “Prime” in the right-hand column, with a price of $8.00 each. And a few of the MP3s are 90 minutes or longer, and are marked “Double”, with a price of $10.00 each. USPA members get 40% off.

Relationship Between Parapsychology and Gravity: Volume 3 of Handbook of Unusual Energies

by J. G. Gallimore

Paperback: 228 pages Publisher: CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform (March 22, 2017) Language: English ISBN-10: 1543024947 ISBN-13: 978-1543024944 Product Dimensions: 8.5 x 0.5 x 11 inches.

Available at Amazon.com

The Relationship Between Parapsychology and Gravity is Volume 3 of J.G. Galimore's series of three handbooks of unusual energies. This book describes in depth the research and theories of J.G. Gallimore into the question of "parapsychology transmission" --the question of how such things as telepathy, remote viewing, ESP, and similar phenomena can physically occur. Gallimore discusses various explanation on how they occur, including the possibility that gravity waves may play a role. He also discusses the various emanations, radiations, and energy fields of all matter and life. This includes the ancient Chinese energy called "chi" (qi), the ancient Indian's prana energy, Reichenback's "odic force", Gurwitsch's "mitogenic radiation", Wilhelm Reich's orgone energy, and other subtle energies of life and matter. Gallimore shows how all of these energies are the same or similar, how they interact, and how they are related to gravity. He also discusses crystals as transducers of these energies, and provides diagrams of devices that could potentially be used to harness or control these energies.

75

Transverse Paraphysics: The New Science of Space, Time, and Gravity Control

by J.G. Gallimore Paperback: 374 pages Publisher: CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform (March 21, 2017) Language: English ISBN-10: 1543024920 ISBN-13: 978-1543024920 Product Dimensions: 8.5 x 0.8 x 11 inches

This book is about psychotronics, radionics, electromagnetic fields and waves, psi-plasma, plasma fields, subtle energies, bioelectromagnetic energy, and other unusual energies emitted by living and non-living things. It also is about how living things interact with and are affected by these energies, which may enhance health or harm health. The book covers the research of Wilhem Reich on orgone energy, of Baron Reichenback on the odic forces, as well as research done by Cazzamalli on brain radiations and Lakhovsky on using high frequency radiations to successfully treat cancer in humans. In addition, Lakhovsky used similar methods to enhance the growth of plants. Gallimore shows how these energies, forces, and fields are all inter-related and provides hypotheses and ideas on their possible unification.
