Allows you to create documents faster and more accurately than typing them
Allows you hands free communication
Allows you to revise documents as you go
Allows you to search the Web and navigate Web pages by speaking the URLs and links

4. Communication Headset Connection
Headset connects to the microphone jack on the back side of the computer, jack is colored coded pink on this computer.

5. Headset is placed on your head with the microphone positioned slightly below your mouth.

Open the program and begin creating a user profile.

Select Default
Select your sound system
8. Read the text provided speaking in a normal voice to allow microphone check.

Complete quality check on your microphone

When quality check is complete, system will indicate passed.

Begin creating your personal user files with your voice.
11. Follow screen prompts to allow the computer to adjust to you voice.
System sets vocabulary
Read printed text to allow computer to adjust to your voice.

12. Program will congratulate you upon successful completion of setting up your profile.

13. The Dragon Bar will appear at the top of your screen
You can now dictate into almost any Windows-based program
Before you begin dictating, be sure to turn on your microphone, by clicking the microphone icon on the Dragon Bar
As you speak the text will display in the Results box while the computer determines what you have said
