1. Safety Information

1.1 Safety Tips

1.1.1 Operator should read this manual carefully before use it and only trained one is permitted to operate it

solely.

1.1.2 This manual uses warning and tips to avoid making machine damaged or people injury or dead because

of improper operation and maintenance.

1.2 Safety Rules

1.2.1 Operator must be trained and hold practiced skill. It is danger to use the machine improperly or by

untrained person. Operator should read, understand and follow the manual.

1.2.2 Operate the engine safely: in the process of running and refueling the engine hold special danger! It can

lead to serious casualty accident if fail to follow the safety rules.(please refer to the safety manual by engine

manufacture)

WARNING:Wrong operation may lead to machine damage, people injury or dead.

warning:

Operator should read and understand this manual before operating equipment and be familiar to safety rules

and operation skills. untrained people is prohibited to use it.

Never use the rammer in wrong location.

Check the machine with the third requirement to avoid accident and damaging the machine.

Never use the machine in small room where is not well ventilated or close to fire.

Do not allow children to enter into the work area with 2 meters.

Gasp quick shutdown.

Never put the combustible staff close to the rammer when it is running, such as gasoline and match. Fire

could result from combustible staff that is on the top of engine.

Smoking and fire is forbidden in gasoline storage and when refill oil.

slant angle should not be more than 30 degree when it is running, or it will lead to the fuel leak and

rammer run abnormally.

Never leave the machine running unattended.

Operate with proper protective clothing, shatterproof glasses and protective boots. Keep distance with the

rammer when operate it.

Caution marks should be set when operate the machine.

When lay the rammer, avoid making the rammer slide, roll or fall.

warning:

DO NOT operate the machine near the fire, especially refuel the engine.

Refuel the engine just in the ventilated location; tighten the cap of tank after filling the fuel; before

starting the machine check whether it has oil leak, if so, do not start the rammer.

DO not refuel the engine when it has heat or it is running; the oil must be clean and can not be full, or

the oil may be spilt over and even block the carburetor; if the oil spilt over the tank, it must be cleaned

and dried to restart the machine.

1.2.3. Safety maintenance: it is necessary to maintain the rammer periodically or irregularly to keep the

machine run safely and properly for a long time. Lack of maintenance will create hidden danger.

2. Usage

This machine is intended to be used for compacting friable soil(rushed stone ratio<30%). It can be used

wildly in highway, construction, dam, airport, railway and so on. It can offer them a solid soil basis.

3. Check before work

3.1 Check the engine oil

3.1.1 Engine oil: remove the oil dipstick and clean it; insert the

dipstick into the oil tank to check the oil level. If the oil lever comes

near to the lower limit mark, refill the oil tank up to the upper limit

mark.

Capacity is 0.4L.

3.1.2 Impact system lubricating oil: when replace the impact

system oil, drain the oil first and fill the oil to the upper location of the

oil window.

3.1.3 Oil recommended: generally SAE10W-30isrecommended, as

it is suitable to the common environment temperature. If choose other

ones, please refer to the viscosity that match the local temperature.

warning:it cannot be used in the following areas: solid or sharp surface like cement ground, stone

and so on, or it will make the rammer damage.

Drain the fuel when transport the rammer, as petrol is combustible.

Operator must hold emergence stop; Never choke the engine to stop it.

Do not run the machine without air cleaner.

The temperate is high when the engine is working. Do not touch the hot components such as muffle,

cylinder, cooling fin and so on . Transport and store the machine when it is cool.

warning:

Do not clean and fix the rammer when it is running.

Do no change the technical parameter. If need change, please adjust to the specified area.

Reset the safety and protection device after maintenance.

Keep periodical maintenance following the advice of manual.

Remove the cover of sparking plug when maintain and fix the machine.

Clean the air cleaner of engine and the cooling fin regularly.

Do not use the component that is not recommended by our company, or it will cause the rammer damage

and operator injury or dead.

3.2 Check the air cleaner:check whether the filter is blocked and sponge is broken; dirty filter will block the

air cleaner, which will weaken the engine even make the engine fail to start.

3.3 Make sure all the screws are tightened.

3.4 Check the fuel tank: the fuel must be above 90# lead-free gasoline. The recommended fuel is above 93#

lead-free gasoline. Do not get dust, water or other foreign matter into the fuel tank, do not mix the fuel with

engine oil.

4. Operate

4.1 The way to start the engine:

4.1.1 Turn on the engine switch.

4.1.2 Open the fuel valve.

4.1.3 Close the choke lever, which can not be closed if the machine is overheated or the weather is hot.

4.1.4 Set Accelerator Handle to the idle speed position.

4.1.5 Slowly pull the handle until to feel hard, then pull the line to start the engine quickly.

Tips : it will short the work life if use the oil lack of detersive or the oil for two-stroke engine.

Tips: first pull the line slowly, when you feel the resistance, pull quickly, which is to protect the engine.

Do not let the handle to crush the engine when loose the handle. Replace the handle within the

resilience force of the engine rope.

4.2 Use the rammer

4.2.1 Open the choke lever after starting the engine. It needs 5 minutes to warm up.

4.2.2 Turn the handle and put the accelerator handle to work position.

4.2.3 Guide the rammer by handrail to move automatically. The rammer will show the best effect if keep it in

balance. Push the handrail to make the rammer unstable, which will damage the engine.

Tips:

When the engine is started and warmed up, do not turn the handle slowly even keep the handle in the

middle position, or the rammer will jump irregularly, which will wear and tear the clutch and damage

the engine.

The rammer is easily turned over when impact the rugged ground. Pay attention to avoid making wrist

or other parts injury.

Turn off the engine before leaving the rammer.

Do not start and use the rammer in the solid surface.

Operator must catch the handle with run it.

5. Power off

5.1 Turn off the engine switch directly in emergency situation.

5.2 In normal condition, do the follow steps to stop the machine:

5.2.1 Turn the handle, pull the accelerator handle back to stop position to make the rammer stop .

5.2.2 Turn off the engine switch.

5.2.3 Close the fuel valve.

Tips: Do not stop the engine when the rammer is in high speed, or it will engine oil deteriorate or parts

are in jam as the temperate of engine rises suddenly.

6、INSPECTATION AND MAINTENANCE

Periodical inspection and maintenance is needed.

6.2 Way to replace engine oil.

6.2.1. It is better to replace the engine oil when the rammer has been warmed

up to make sure drain the oil quickly and totally.

6.2.2 Remove the dipstick and the plug to drain the oil.

6.2.3 Reset the drain plug and tighten it.

6.2.4 Refill the engine oil and check the oil level to meet the requirement.

6.2.5 Replace and tighten the dipstick.

warning:

Stop the engine before maintain and fix the rammer.

In order to avoiding any accident, remove the cover of spark plug.

Tips:

Long-term touching oil has the cancer risk, so use the soap to wash up.

Use vessel to hold the oil to avoid spilling on the ground to pollute the environment.

6.3 Clean the air cleaner

A dusty air cleaner prevent the air to enter into the engine, therefore it need be cleaned regularly.

6.3.1 Open the cap, remove the air cleaner cover and take out the filter core.

6.3.2 Check whether the filter core is dirty if so, clean it. Replace as it is broken.

6.3.3 Use Noncombustible or high burning point solvent to wash the sponge then dry it.

6.3.4 When the sponge is washed and dried, soak a little clean engine oil(SAE#30 is recommended) ,then

squeeze out the overage oil.

6.3.5 Reset the air cleaner.

6.4 Spark plug maintenance

6.4.1 Remove the cover of spark plug by the related wrench.

6.4.2 Check whether the electrode of spark plug is corroded and the

insulation part is broken, or change the spark plug.

6.4.3 If carbon deposition is serious, use wire brush to clean it then reset

the spark plug.

6.4.4 The side electrode gap should normally be within 0.6-0.7 mm.

6.4.5 Check whether the spark gasket is broken.

6.4.6 First screw the spark into place by hand then tighten it with the

wrench.

warning:Do not use the gasoline or low burning point solvent to clean the air cleaner ,or it will lean to

flame or explosion.

Tip:Do not use the rammer when lack of air cleaner, or it will damage the engine.

Tips:

Do not use the improper spark plug within ignition area.

In order to make sure the engine work properly, the spark plug must have a gap and there is no foreign

matter in the middle.

Vent pipe holds high temperature as the engine stops just now. so maintenance can go when it is cool.

Tighten the spark plug, or it will damage the engine.

6.6 Transport

6.6.1 In short-distance transport turn off the ignition switch and make sure

the engine stands in horizontal position to prevent fuel and engine oil

leakage.

6.6.2 In long-distance transport drain the fuel and engine oil from the tank.

6.7 Storage

6.7.1 Before storing the rammer, drain the fuel and the store location should

be clean and dry.

6.7.2 Turn off the ignition switch then open the precipitation cup of

carburetor.

6.7.3 Open the fuel switch and pour the gasoline to the vessel.

6.7.4 Drain the gasoline and tighten the precipitation cup of

carburetor again.

6.7.5 Remove the spark plug, add one soup of engine oil to the

cylinder, pull the string several times slowly to distribute the

engine oil uniformly, then reset the spark engine again.

6.7.6 Cove the engine against the dust.

Tips:If transport the rammer with oil in the inclination should below 30 degree or the oil may enter into the

cylinder and carburetor and air cleaner which will make engine failure to work normally.

7. Problem analysis

symptom: reason:

1. engine does not start

1. There is no fuel in the tank.

2. The fuel valve is closed.

3. Accelerator switch is not open.

4. There is no oil in the carburetor.

5. The spark plug is broken or has too much carbon deposit.

6. The fuel filter is plugged.

2. engine does not accelerate or runs poorly

1. The spark plug is fouled.

2. The air filters are dirty.

3. Carburetor can not supply oil freely.

4. Piston ring、air door wired。

3. Engine runs but rammer does not tamp

1. Clutch wears out.

2. The connecting rod or gear is broken.

3. There is too much engine oil in the ramming system.

4. Engine runs but rammer jumps erratically

1. The nuts in the engine connect parts are loose.
