Current Ina-Geoportal in http://tanahair.indonesia.go.id eventually will be replaced by a new portal, as part of Indonesia NSDI project. Existing users of old version of Ina-Geoportal, should re-register their account and migrate their items data to the new version Indonesian Geospatial Portal manually.

Item Registration

This chapter describes how to migrate your existing/original items in the old Ina-Geoportal into the new Indonesian Geospatial Portal. Go to your existing/original item details page in the old Ina-Geoportal (http://tanahair.indonesia.go.id). Example:

Basically all information in the item detail above will be necessary to be registered into new item at Indonesian Geospatial Portal, such as Title, Summary, Description, Map Contents, and Tags. So it will be handy to keep the item detail page opens during registering the new item.

From Indonesian Geospatial Portal (http://portal.ina-sdi.or.id), click on InaGeoportal link.

Click on Map (Peta) link.

My Map (Peta Saya) page will open. To add a new layer, click on Add (Tambah) button, and select Add Layer from Web (Tambahkan Layer dari Web).

A small dialog will appear. Select ArcGIS Server Web Service (Layanan Web ArcGIS Server) as type of data, then enter the URL of the service as listed in your original items content. Clik on Add Layer (Tambahkan Layer) button.

If the layer URL is valid and the target ArcGIS Server service is up and running, the layer should be added into My Map (Peta Saya) view. Repeat adding other layers as necessary.

After all layers have been added, click on Save (Simpan) button, and select Save As (Simpan Sebagai) to save the map as an item.

A small dialog will appear. Enter Title, Tags and Summary by referring the original item details. Click on Save Map (Simpan Peta) button.

To check the saved item, click on My Content (Konten Saya) link and select My Content (Konten Saya) submenu.

A list containing your saved items will be displayed. Click on the items Title (Judul) link.

The item details will be displayed. If your original item was shared to public/groups, click on Share (Bagikan) button.

A small dialog will appear. Select to whom you want to share the item with. Click OK button.

The item has been successfully registered into new Indonesian Geospatial Portal. Repeat and register other items as necessary.
