1 INTRODUCTION

This Freedom Gateway Lite needs to be installed in the Imaging center for the

Image Center Technologist to upload images or import images to the web server. There

are few simple steps to be followed to install this Freedom Gateway Lite.

1.1 Powerful Features

1. Helps to process whereby images are transferred to distant locations for the purpose of

interpretation and diagnosis in underserved areas, especially in emergency situations, to

increase

the reach of subspecialty diagnosis and to ease regional and temporal staffing shortages.

2. Innowave software is to balance between the demand and availability of diagnostic

services. The

immediate availability of diagnostic services, which is extremely important during

medical

emergencies, is a big advantages that outsourcing of radiology or 'night hawking offers.

3. Incorporation of an effective algorithm also helps make diagnosis and treatment easy.

1.2 Use of Freedom Gateway Lite

There are few simple steps to be followed to install this Freedom Gateway Lite.

2 Installation: It is especially useful for imaging center, doctors and radiologist working in remote

villages and those who cannot afford the high charge of appointing radiologist. This will

help to outsource the radiologist to any place from any where.




2.1 Pre requisites \ Minimum hardware and software requirements

2.2 Step by Step instructions for installation.

1. Run Freedom Gateway Lite.exe

2. From the setup screen press Next to start installing.




3. Start installing in default folder (C:\Program Files\Innowave). For installing in a

different folder,

click browse and change the folder path, then press OK and click Install.

4. Finally Click On Finish Button to complete the Client Setup.




5. Click finish button after installation




3 Working with Freedom Gateway Lite:

3.1 Open Freedom Gateway Lite Application

1. Login into the http://tr.innowave.in/freedom2 using the technologist login

and click worklist.

2. Click upload button at the worklist, Application Gateway Lite will open.

3.2 Import images from file/folder

1. Click Scan images / Scan folder and select the images / folder of patient to upload

2. Select the images to import and Click Open button, the images will be imported and

display in the

list.

3.Select the image and click upload button.

4. Study will upload and visible at the Freedom web worklist.




3.3 Gateway Lite settings

3.3.1 Service Restart

The service will start automatically as application installed. To restart the service, click

stop Dicom server and again click start Dicom server under file menu.




3.3.2 Settings

The settings will have the Following Features like Image transfer, Dicom settings,

Proxy settings, Local Cache manager.

1. Image Transfer

In Image transfer settings user can enable parallel upload, Image transferring rates,

Retrying images while transferring, communication settings, file/ folder import settings.

2. Dicom Settings

Dicom settings will provide the dicom server details like AETITLE, Port Number.




3. Proxy Settings

User can choose the recommended settings to enable proxy.

4. Local cache Manager




User can choose the option to delete the local studies.

4 Tips and Troubleshooting

Most problems with Innowave Teleradiology can be solved quickly by following

the advice in this

chapter.

If you’re Transfer Manager doesn’t work or Respond.

Check the internet connection.

Check the server it should run to which you are connected, check the IP address.

Viewer path would not be set in the back end manager in the server side.

Check the settings of the DICOM viewer according to your viewer.

Check the port number what you have set in the DICOM viewer in the client side.

Check the availability of the studies in the server side to be fetched.

Check the connection between the client and the server.

If the problems still persist then please call the vendor.
