Google FitYour 3rd gen Moto 360 smartwatch has Google Fit as its default fitness app. The watch features full compatibili-ty with the app, including Move Minutes and Heart Points monitoring. You can also connect Google Fit with a range of third-party apps, such as Under Armour Record, Workout Trainer, Runtastic PRO to access additional features.

Swipe from right to left to access your fitness info and sign into Google Fit. You can also map your customizable action button (the push-crown on the right) to get you there in-stantly.

Tip: To add a recurring exercise or schedule a one-time work-out session, open Google Calendar and press on the ‘’+’’ and then tap on ‘’Exercise’’.

Moving Minutes & Heart Points

Google Fit lets you keep track of two vital health metrics - Move Minutes and Heart Points.

You can earn Move Minutes by staying active. Taking the stairs instead of an elevator or catching up with your friend over a walk instead of coffee will earn you Move Minutes and can inspire you to make small-time improvements to your health and wellbeing.

These will be shown as a blue ring on the home screen.

You earn Heart Points, displayed as a green ring running alongside the bezel, whenever you perform a slightly more demanding activity, such as a swift walk or a jog.

You earn one heart point per minute of such exercise, or two per minute when performing an intense activity such as a sprint.

Checking Your ProgressThe always-on, OLED display (now without a ‘’flat tire’’) makes it easy for you to keep tabs on your progress. During an activity, your watch will display live progress such as the duration of the activity, calories burned and distance traveled. Use the rotating crown or swipe up to reveal more data on your progress.

And because the 3rd gen Moto 360 includes a built-in GPS and barometric altimeter, you track all your activities without carrying your phone.

The Fit Workout app on your Moto 360 tracks and records your runs, cycling, strength training and other activities. You can review your activity history and details at any time within the Google Fit mobile or watch app

Starting an activity

To start an activity, on your watch tap the top crown button Fit Workout Choose your activity Start. If you choose

an outdoor activity, stand still and wait for the icon at the top to stop blinking and change to a solid and reads ‘GPS acquired’.

Tip: To speed up GPS acquisition ensure you have a direct line of sight to the sky and are not around any large struc-tures.

Removing the watch from your wrist and holding it until GPS is acquired can speed up the process.

Heart Rate Tracking

For optimal tracking, it is recommended to wear the included silicone strap. Wear the watch two fingers distance from your wrist bone and make sure the strap is snug but not constrict-ing movement or blood flow.

Page 21: User Manual › documents › 108566 › EN - Moto 360... · through watch notifications with a flick of your wrist. See Hands-free scrolling on page 14. Action Button The lower button

Care and MaintenanceFrequently maintaining and properly caring for your watch increases the longevity of your devices and ensures a factory look even after prolonged use.

Please note that the leather watch band has been hand treat-ed with several stain coats to give a rich finish. Some wear and transfer of color may be possible. As with many types of leather, please use discretion when wearing lighter colored garments.

To clean, wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use any pol-ishes or creams. Like most leather products, the watch band must be treated with care. Direct exposure to water is not recommended.

The device should be stored between -20 ° C and 45 ° C. If the storage temperature or operating temperature is beyond the range, the watch may be damaged and the battery life will be shortened.

Do not use or store this device near flammable or explosive equipment.

A cautionary note on water resistance: The 3rd gen Moto 360 is 3ATM Water Resistant. This means you can safely submerge your water down to 30 meters, expose it to rain, splashes and other minor contact with water. The watch is not intended for high-impact water sports, diving, or ex-treme water pressure. Please note that components such as the touchscreen and microphone may not function correctly when exposed to water, especially when in contact for pro-longed periods of time. Likewise, the leather band should be kept dry at most times to prevent structural damage and deformation. Before charging, always ensure the watch is dry. If the watch has been in contact with salt water or sweat, rinse it thoroughly and dry to avoid damage.

YOUR WATCH MEETS FCC AND IC LIMITS FOR EXPOSURE TO RADIO WAVES.

Your watch is a radio transmitter and receiver intended to be worn on your wrist. It is designed not to exceed the limits for exposure to radio waves (radio frequency electromagnetic fields) adopted by the Federal Communications Commis-sion (FCC) and Industry Canada (IC). These limits include a substantial safety margin designed to assure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health. The radio wave exposure guidelines use a unit of measure-ment known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit for wrist-worn devices is 4.0 W/kg. Testing is con-ducted with the device transmitting at its highest certified power level. The highest SAR tested value for your device

model is: [INSERT VALUE] W/kg.
