Hardware RequirementThe client side of this system is just the popular web browsers running on different end systems. The standard HTML 4.0, CSS 3 and JavaScript must be fully supported by the system to make the web pages compatible with the most widely used browsers (for example, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.).

The server side can run on any popular web server systems. The recommended server system is Apache web server. Other systems such as Microsoft IIS are also acceptable.

Database Management System of CBS should be selected among the following choices: MySQL (Preferred), Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server.

Processor: Pentium 4 3.0 GHz or fasterHard disk: Min 20 - 100 GB 5400 rpm SCSI HD (more/larger/faster/RAID is better)RAM: 2 GB (more is better)

1.Introdution to the LivDom.comThe LivDom website has been developed on the basis of research carried on before the website design.The website committed to providing the best online rental service for the students in Liverpool.It provides the following features:1.Regesiter & Login function-the website allow users to create their own account.2.Accommodation search-user could search the accommodation according to their requirements.3.Booking accommodation- user could book the accommodation their want.4.Payment- users could pay their rental fee on our website.This manual explains the many ways in which to use the site in order to get the most out of our vast resource. For all further questions please get in touch with the LivDom team– the contact details can be found at the contact page.

2. Login & Register The users of LivDom website could login the website in the top right conner of home page.

After login our website, user could enter their personal account by click the their user name.

If the users not our company’s member, they can register by click the link Create one. Then the website will turn to the register page. New member could register by enter the username, password and some personal information.

3.My accountThe screen shot below is the my account page. In this page, login users could see the payment info, change their password and update their personal details

Password changing page:

Our members could change their password in this page. Their should enter their new password and then confirm their new password.

Members could update their phone number and Email address in this page.

4.SearchLivDom offers the search functions in the home page. This is a drop-down menu type search. Users could select the room type (flat or house) and price range.

The results of searching will present in the results page, users could see some accommodation features, such as number of bed, room level, location and price.

5.CommentThe user could make a comment at the bottom of the CityPara and Grove Court page.

They could login with various account, such as Google account, twitter account , Facebook account and etc.

6.BookingExpect the search results, Users could see more detail information about our two property CityPara, Grove Court and some recommend houses. The home page provide quick line to those page.

Those three page provide detail descriptions of those property, user could get most information they need in those three pages. Let’s take CityPara page as a example.Users could click the view on the map link to get the Google map to know where the property is. The menu panel below show some detail information about this property, such as what do I get, property features and payment info.

Except the those three property page, users could user the results of search to process their accommodation.

7.PaymentAfter confirm the booking, the web page will turn to the payment page, the payment page will present flat ID and the total amount of rental fee customers need to pay. Then the webpage will turn to PayPal to implement the payment.
