Up to 8 favourite positions can be set for each blind. When one of the eight scenario’s is played, the blinds moves to the corresponding position. The box can be used stand-alone or integrated into an existing automation system. If the scenario with the highest priority is de-activated, the lower priority scenario will be in force. - If you have more than one Domotica Box, the input with highest number has priority. If scenario’s with same numbers are active, the one that is activated first, will be in force. 2.5 Play safety settings For security reasons a safety setting is active if the output is high. To deactivate a safety scenario, the output must be connected to the ground. If a blind does not receive commands from the Domotica Box, the blind deactivates after one hour. Programming 2.1 Pair/unpair a blind with a Domotica box scenario Set the blind (or blinds) in the desired position Set the blind (or blinds) in program mode* Select the desired scenario on the Domotica Box 1. Press the green button to pair (add) the scenario to the blind Exit program mode on the blind(s) 2. Press the red button to unpair (remove) the scenario from the blind 3. Press the red + green button at the same time to use the scenario as ‘stop’ command for the blinds* Set the Domotica Box in program mode: Press Play and Select at the same time Select the desired scenario* Press the blue button (Pair) to select the safety setting: Led lights green orange (Red = no safety setting). 2.2 Programming safety settings* A safety setting can be programmed for any scenario. In case of fire or maintenance the safety scenario is played. The blinds are secured and do not respond to other scenario’s. It is also possible to block the use of remote controls. * Only available on motors produced after august 2010. Safety option 1 (green): When the safety scenario is activated other scenario’s are ignored. Operating individual blinds with a remote control is still possible. Safety option 2 (orange): When the safety scenario is activated, other scenario’s are ignored. Operating individual blinds with a remote control is NOT possible. Playing scenario’s Scenario’s can be played in three ways, using the: - buttons on the Domotica Box - 8 analog inputs - RS232 interface Scenario’s can be played subsequently with 1,5 seconds in between. Directly play the same scenario again to stop the blinds. Blinds can also be stopped with the remote control. 1 Using the buttons on the Domotica Box Select the desired scenario* Press the blue Play button to play the scenario 2 Using the 8 analog inputs Connect the input with the ground to play the scenario. Safety scenario’s: a safety scenario is active if the input is disconnected from the ground. Settings: baudrate 9600, 8 bits, no parity, 1 stopbit, no handshake Protocol: The Domotica Box reacts only on incoming messages. It does not broadcast. Command ends with ‘line feed code’. ‘Line ends’ are also allowed. The Domotica Box reacts not on empty incoming messages. Commands are not case sensitive. Device commands: PLAY, INPUT and INFO PLAY S[scenario number] Plays the specific scenario. Scenario’s are S1 – S8 Example: Command: PLAY S5 Response: OK INFO Reads out the software version of the Domotica Box. INPUT I[input number] Reads out the voltage on the specific input. - An input with the highest number overrules a lower input number.

- Situation: 2 safety scenario’s are activated.

If the scenario with the highest priority is de-activated, the lower priority scenario

will be in force.

- If you have more than one Domotica Box, the input with highest number has priority.

If scenario’s with same numbers are active, the one that is activated fi rst, will be in force.

2.5 Play safety settings

For security reasons a safety setting is active if the output is high.

To deactivate a safety scenario, the output must be connected to the ground.

If a blind does not receive commands from the Domotica Box, the blind deactivates

after one hour.

2. Programming2.1 Pair/unpair a blind with a Domotica box scenario

Set the blind (or blinds) in the desired position

Set the blind (or blinds) in program mode*

Select the desired scenario on the Domotica Box

1. Press

the green button to pair (add)

the scenario

to the blind

Exit program mode on the blind(s)

the blind

3. Press the red + green button at the same time

to use the scenario

as ‘stop’ command

for the blinds*

3. Playing scenario’s

Scenario’s can be played in three ways, using the:

- buttons on the Domotica Box

- 8 analog inputs

- RS232 interface

Scenario’s can be played subsequently with 1,5 seconds in between.

Directly play the same scenario again to stop the blinds.

Blinds can also be stopped with the remote control.

1 Using the buttons on the Domotica Box

Select the desired scenario* Press the blue Play button

to play the scenario

2 Using the 8 analog inputs

Connect the input with the ground

to play the scenario.

Safety scenario’s: a safety scenario
