Sign into your SkyDrive account at skydrive.live.com

Click “Get SkyDrive apps” at the left side of the window

Download and install the app, making sure to use your Windows Live ID

Get SkyDrive on your computer

Go to www.crashplan.com/download and install the free CrashPlan backup program

Install CrashPlan

Launch CrashPlan from the system tray

Launch CrashPlan

Page 5: Use SkyDrive for Backups

Click Destinations at the left side of the window

Choose folder destination

Page 6: Use SkyDrive for Backups

Click the “Folders” tab

Click the “Folders” tab at the top of the window, then click the “Select” button.

Find your SkyDrive folder

Locate your SkyDrive folder at

C:\Users\UserName\SkyDrive

Then click OK

Start the backup

Click “SkyDrive” under “Available folders”, then click the “Start Backup” button.
