INTRODUCTION

multimedia documents. Most of the research 2or' onretrie"al of user rele"ant information from ((( is

related to te1t documents and little 2or' has been doneon retrie"al of multimedia documents Su3u'i et al .,

s#stems use computers and internet 2hich restrict the

user mobilit# and thus costs the accessibilit# of

information. he use of cell phones to retrie"e

multimedia documents from 2eb, not onl# permits user

mobilit# but also offers accessibilit# of information

an#time and an#2here 7slam and Mahmood, 45586.9o2e"er, there are some issues 2ith cell phones

2hich ma'e it difficult to access internet. :irstl#, most of

the cell phones don;t ha"e +eneral pac'et radio ser"ice
