the Urogynaecological Society of australasia (UgSa) in conjunction with the South australian branch of the continence foundation of australia (cfa Sa) is pleased to invite you to adelaide at this busy, festival time of year for its aSM. this will present contemporary, contemporary, scientific updates and new innovations in Urogynaecology.
We have a highly regarded list of invited speakers from the USa, ireland and Britain, to provide their insight and expertise into current
controversies and future pathways from a global perspective.
the emphasis this year will be on clinical governance with joint decision making between clinicians and patients to provide optimal outcomes. how can the interface between different expectations be matched? how can new technology and treatments be tested and adopted by utilizing research networks? Workshops will provide a new learning option for surgical techniques incorporating video
teaching, as well simulation and common clinical scenarios. this meeting will provide expertise for generalists and sub specialists to update and consolidate their practice. the 5-day program also incorporates a specialist training day for those wishing to better understand the principles underlying pelvic floor dysfunction. the organising committee look forward to clinicians attending and participating in this exciting meeting.
